I have to agree. The new patch has done wonders for it. It makes me want more!

BoB2 does as well but it quite a bit better in SINGLE player than Il2. There is so much immersion and randomness that it is very replayable without getting bored. I've had it just over a year and play all the time and have only been playing the many Instant Action missions. Incredibly I have yet to start a campaign!!! It is THAT replayable - even though currently limited to offline only. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Exactly BOB2 has so much immersion and randomness of events. It really feels like you are there at times. Also the "air graphics" and scenery IMO are way better then Il-2. Il-2 looks a bit "cartoonish" to me now that I fly BOB 2. IM0, Bob 2 just looks more realistic over all. I enjoy playing Il-2 though for a lot of other reasons and don't plan to get rid of it since it is still a very very good flight sim. One is all the planes one has to choose from to fly...

I agree on immersion, randomness of events, and cartoonish, stalkervision.
