His ability feels infinitely more suited for it in my opinion im just curious actually cause i got him today and i was like well this is a thing. His weapons are good his gadget while everyone says its some next level thing that you have to use in a super complicated way i feel like it just does near nothing except let people know you are withing 12m. Also i guess he got nerfed and his ability lasted longer so im curious as to why he was nerfed? From what ive seen in my very short time on him so far it really doesnt feel like anything game breaking?

Side note if you have any tips on how to use him share them for now im just gonna use him when i wanna roam probably wont pay too much attention to the gadget though since i dont see its benefits to the full extent.

Was wondering about the same, he very well be an attacker operator, who just waltzes past cameras....In the meanwhile Lion could be a defender, exposing the whole attacker team instead of roamers and stuff.

He would obviously be more effective on attacking side

Hiding from drones (Which in case you've never played before can move) vs hiding from stationary cameras that for the most part cant even spin 360....

Reason he got nerfed is because he was the best roamer this happens whenever a character become accepted as the best roamer.. Happened to Pulse back in the day Ela recently now Vigil.. sometimes justified sometimes its not... this one didn't feel needed nor did pulses nerf to everything in his kit at the same time.

I mean his ability could be useful both on attacking and defense but since dokkaebi came out with him if she hacks defenders cams you would get a lot more use out of him. If you know how to use his ability you would never get spotted, making you the ultimate roamer.

They did nerf Vigil but not by much to be honest. Not a character breaking nerf or a vast change like Ela. I would say the minor modification is justified considering he is without a doubt #1 roamer currently. No character should be without a doubt #1 anything or too crucial not to pick such as Lion as well. that is what they are striving for with balancing.

What would his gad be used for if the cams are shot out in the prep phase by Twitch, or someone that can shoots the cams out in one shot from outside? I guess you could leave the cams up just for him so the defenders could just see a fuzzy screen, instead of a black fuzzy screen.
