Hi,
I have to say... can't remember the last time I had such annoying issues in a game.
1: I can't get my NAT to go green (is this still relevant with dedicated servers?)
- Enables UPnP
- Assigned static IPs PC and Router side
- Forwarded all ports
- Exceptions in firewall and antivirus
- Disabled firewalls, added my IP to the DMZ zone.. nothing. It really shouldn't involve this much customer involvement in 2018. Quite honestly this should be added as a disclaimer before people are allowed to buy the game.
2: I have been playing for a week and yesterday the game decided to switch to surround sound. I changed nothing and I am playing on stereo headphones, which means half my sounds in the game are now merely distant echoes. For Honor does not seem to have sound settings to change from surround to stereo (I also checked the config file). Really? I have checked my default devices and windows sound settings. Everything is standard and detected as stereo. Any advice would be appreciated.
Seems odd to run into these kind of issues when a game has already been out for over a year.
Regards
V
Hey VaeIin, glad to hear the sound issue resolved. If it comes back, please try verifying files (Uplay, Steam). For the connection issue have you created a ticket with your MSINFO/DXDIAG and a screenshot of your forwarded ports?
