The latest update completely messed up a map i was working on. It went from 70% lighting to over 100% and now the natural lighting at night looks awful, the glow of the moon and the fog are noticeably worse at night. Now i have to change the whole look of the map because it was a night map and relied on lighting effects, and i can't use enough to light my map anymore. Also the only intractable door in the editor was removed.
Same here. I've been working on a map for a month, practically ready to publish, and now I'm being forced to delete over half of my lights.
The light "objects" (lamps and fixtures) don't emit any light and need to be paired with the effect in order to function as a real light. The fixtures are purely cosmetic and I see no reason why they should be treated the same as the light effect, especially since my map was running perfectly fine before while being comfortably within budget.
I really hope this gets fixed/reversed (my feeling is that this was deliberate). This completely broke my map and I am immensely frustrated. If not, I wasted so much time and I am not motivated to make another map after this. Wtf.
Going back to play FC2 for a while where the true magic is. Don't know why Ubi scrapped such great features (most of which was highlighted in a great video recently posted) and insists on a comedic narrative that greatly detracts from the immersion. Go back to what made FC great, and give back the people the F****** weapons from the past instead of reskinning. My guess is they will be slowly trickled from the live events, the past three of which have been glitched for me. No one cares about a shovel launcher.
