One of the things that causes a lot of frustration is trying to copy and edit groups of items.
When I select a group of objects, I can copy & move the new group wherever I want - so far so good. I've come to grips with the fact that I have to reset the pivot point for each object before I copy the group. But then if I want to edit the coordinates of the group that I just copied, I have to reselect the entire group, THEN hit the button to edit coordinates.
What's even more annoying is that there currently is no way for me to change the texture of an entire group of objects. Even if it's the same object copied multiple times, I have to go through and edit EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY if I decide that I want to make any changes to that texture afterwards.
These should be relatively simple fixes...any chance we can get this fixed anytime soon?
You can hold the rotate control modifier, RT on the XB1 for example, when hitting the duplicate button to 'reselect' the whole group, allowing freeform rotation and axis movement, and entering the Coordinate Editor without reselecting. This should be default behaviour, though, as well as being able to duplicate from the Coordinate Editor itself.
