I sincerely doubt you could. Also, how is the game dead when it's got 13.2k players on steam right now at 230 eastern on a work day?
I totally agree that Ubisoft is operating at an absolutely glacial pace when it comes to supporting the game's MP and editor with many basic features being absent and a stupidly small selection of gamemodes and that their policy of non-communication is pretty ****ing terrible, but idiotic threads like yours do not help anyone.
His feelings are that he feels frustrated that his or other higher quality maps are not in the featured maps list.Originally Posted by rioseven Go to original post

You're jumping to all kinds of assumptions boy. By "doing their jobs for them" I'm saying I shouldn't have to point out all the flaws with the PvP when they are paid to figure this out for themselves. Also, it's mot being toxic when I'm pointing out legitimate flaws that affect the enjoyment factor of the game. I'm not going to cater to these precious snowflakes when what they need is a good kick in the ***. BTW, on the XBox One they don't show the player count and last night when I wanted to unwind and play some MP I could barely find a game. Know your facts before you talk **** and accuse someone a toxic idiot.
I'm sorry, do you know what irony is? Because your little rant there about you not being toxic is pure gold.Originally Posted by NightbayneX Go to original post
Also let me specifically talk about this part of your diatribe since gamers from just about every community seem to think that the more toxic they are to the developers the more they are "representing" the community. News flash: You don't represent anything but your own petty impatience.
Let me ask you this: How arrogant do you have to be that you think you can flat out insult the developers and have some sort of positive impact? Your edgy tone and toxic mood do not make you unique, or more effective at effecting change, you realize that right? You know that you aren't on the phone with some tech support guy that you can abuse, correct?Originally Posted by NightbayneX Go to original post
So drop your pathetic, high school drama.
We get it. Ubisoft has done a very poor job of establishing any sort of dialog about their 'roadmap' for what they plan for FC5 MP. CMs telling us that the developers read the forum posts really doesn't mean anything to me if we don't actually have a proper interface for how the FC5 Arcade team plans on keeping MP alive and the incentive for content creators to keep creating content.
The editor, while powerful is far from perfect. It straight up lacks some basic features other editors have that would make life MUCH easier. Why the game's base content STILL isn't even accessible is outright mind boggling to me.
Having a developer or some other official voice chime in and give us some better expectations about what we can and can't expect for the future of the Arcade editor would be phenomenal. Having the God Damn PATCH NOTES for updates as a sticky thread would be a pretty good (and basic) first step in terms of keeping us in the loop. Maybe they should also consider that the 'Manual' in the editor actually link to something useful such as a wiki full of documentation rather than the stupid advertising page for the game.
And Yes, the editor is only part of the problem. The Arcade round robin system currently SUCKS when it comes to actually promoting new content being added by the community and instead favors the oldest maps in circulation since they've naturally accumulated more votes. There is no method for the average player to provide any sort of meaningful feedback to content creators.
All of these things are certainly contributing to the game bleeding players, but it certainly isn't at the point yet where you can just arbitrarily declare the game 'dead' because of your one anecdotal experience.
Everyone on PC? That's not the case.Originally Posted by rioseven Go to original post
At any rate, bleeding concurrent players for most MP games is pretty common. It can be alleviated or plateau at a much higher number depending on different factors such as developer involvement, but more specifically for FCMP?
The main draw for FC simply isn't the MP. It's the campaign and coop. Arcade, despite Ubisoft seemingly talking it up quite a bit feels really sort of slapped on and bare-bones. There really isn't much progression to speak of to keep people interested, and I'm guessing a decent number of people have simply moved on to other games once they've beaten the SP/COOP and ran out of things to do for MP proper.
