Hello Far Cry Map builders,
For the next three weeks, we'll be holding a new Map Jam! Using the FC5 Map Editor, we want you to create a Parkour map using a Post-Apocalyptic theme.
How to Participate?
Publish your FC5 map between April 30th and May 17th.
The name of your map should start with “MJ4 - nameofmap”.
You are free to use any game mode and any in-game modifier. Please do not use third-party Mods.
You are free to create on any platform. Note that PC builders and Console builders will be split into 2x separate categories.
Your map should highlight your vision of a Parkour gameplay style and a Post-Apocalyptic visual setting.
You can publish additional screenshots & videos to further promote your map.
If you wish to pro-actively send us links to your images or videos, use Twitter (hashtag #FCMapJam) or email us (farcrycommunity@ubisoft.com).
Rules
Only ONE map creation can be submitted per person. This includes all platforms (so choose wisely).
No co-op projects or collaborations permitted. As much as we love co-op projects and collaborations, the idea is for solo projects to be created.
HAVE FUN! – We cannot stress this one enough. This is what Map Jams are about.

"ELIGIBILITY: The Far Cry 5 Map Jam (the “Competition”) is open only to legal residents of USA, Canada (except Quebec), Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry."
Nah. You need to state such important things here. Some people may not see this and spend their time for nothing.
Ahahahhah. Exactly. Not sure, is this a competition held by a giant game company or a kidergarten game?)))Originally Posted by K0libree Go to original post
The Arcade website's search won't let you search for "MJ4" as that term is too short. So here's a list of MJ4 entries, with a bit more fuzzy search:

Thanks for that Steve!Originally Posted by Steve64b Go to original post
I believe the in-game search function itself doesn't have that minimum character requirement, so you should be able to find Map Jam entries on all platforms with just "MJ4".
For anyone after a full list in their browser, I think Steve64b's link does the trick perfectly![]()

Hi, I just got an email from the far cry community address saying the following:
"Hi there Sean!
Thank you so much for getting in touch with us, and also for sharing this preview video of your map, which looks very cool indeed!
However, there is a problem with your entry, and we are really sorry to say this: your map was published on May 18th, a day after the submission window closed.
As our original MJ4 article states, eligible submissions have to have been published “between April 30th and May 17th”.
This means we will not be able to consider Asphalt to Ashes for this Map Jam competition – we are so sorry about this. L
Nonetheless, we’d like to thank you for this contribution to the Far Cry Arcade; you can be sure that we will give your map a spin, whether it is a Map Jam entry or not!
All the best to you,
The Far Cry Community Team

Subject: MJ4 Map Jam "MJ4 - Asphalt to Ashes" submission
Hi,
I recently submitted my map for the MJ4 map jam and just thought I'd send you over a little video I made of the map - I played a bunch of the submissions so far and some are pretty fun such as the "Thirty Below" one I enjoyed that glad some people thought of snow/polar climate for the apocalypse too!
Here is the link to my video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0Htp2Cn3Jo

Now I am concerned because I uploaded my map just after 10pm EST May 17th, which is in accordance with the rules given in the official rules document where it says the following :
"COMPETITION PERIOD: The Competition will begin 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“EST”) on April 30th 2018 and will end at 11:59 PM EST on May 17th 2018."
I have sent a reply about this, but not sure if posting here will help as this should be checked before the competition judging is complete (25th) as I feel that there has been an oversight due to timezone differences affecting map upload dates (the map upload date for the arcade system appears to only show a date not a time so isn't on the same timezone for everyone)
I can confirm to you that your map was ultimately included in the runningOriginally Posted by snuffles10155 Go to original post
We'll be announcing the winners soon!
