I try to get the sniper boss first while widling down the other mobs..That Sniper boss just kept shocking the hell out of me the first time..Then take out Wilbur by himself..
You have to shoot him in the back on that little red pack he has on his back..
Drop some fire or shock or gas nades, then shoot him in the back when he drops to the ground..have to shoot his pack until it starts going haywire and burns him up..
I was going to post a similar Q myself, but thought I'd hop onto yours.
I just got my Classy D3 together over the weekend. Not at all optimized yet, and haven't reached 9k STAM yet either (about 8400 at present), but looking for any strategies for solo play.
So long as I keep all NPCs in front of me I am almost un-killable (and I have enough Crit built in that my House mows down even the heavies), but keeping them there is tough as heck. Some will always circle around back and gun me down. LOL.
Other than standing with my back to a wall what strategies have y'all come up with to doing solo with this build?

you could try to run some sort of CC like fire/shock turret or flash bang.Originally Posted by DLexFactor22 Go to original post
I too continue to get flanked so a fire turret I shall try!!Originally Posted by ink3pointoh Go to original post
From any of the Legendary I've done,There is a certain place where the group of mobs won't go past it seems..
I just take my time and keep drawing them to that point until I get to the group that won't go past another point up farther..
Since they won't go past, they won't cross that line to flank me..
I'm kind of new to legendary runs..But the best thing I've found so far is to take my time and study what they are doing...
The ones that really get me so far has been Grand Central Station..
you have those agents at the end and then the hunter..I can almost get those agents..but the JTF guy that hangs out over on the side where the ammo caches is keeps getting in my way..
Last time he kept coming up from behind and kept pushing me forward into the agents..
I remember getting so mad that I started to shoot him out of anger..lol
Get out the way JACK!!
The other one that I got to the bosses but failed at the end was Napalm production plant..I guess you have to wait to kill a certain boss on that one or the whole place starts to burn up..
I couldn't hang in the fire and got overtaken by fire and remaining mobs..the rest of the run was not too bad at all..
You got it right. Study to understand the mission; learn spawns, patterns and compositions. With good gameplay you can get through.Originally Posted by CassiousCloud Go to original post
Its the approach 90s gamers' used since it wasn't like you can matchmake for a carry :P
A lot of people I've meet in the game get annoyed they can't plow through legendary missions and get angry, but they seem to think they overcome whatever is thrown at them without knowing anything about the mission like spawns and NPC compositions.
