Yeah, I read through it twice because I couldn't believe it wasn't in there but obviously missed it (both times no less). Thanks.

That's a lot of fixes for one update. Hope it don't generate too many new bugs, there certainly will be some. Problem with making this many fixes in one update is that it will be hard to sort out the new bugs and which fix caused them. Hope it works out ok.

An unfortunate consequence of them deciding that they were going to leave more than 3 weeks between one title update and another. As you say, it's a lot of changes that could have unforeseeable interactions with other things in a negative way. And it's entirely their own fault if it does cause problems.

All that Ubisoft has done is drum up a lot of unhappiness around this with how poorly they've chosen to communicate activity and bug fixing. I mean, these patch notes come at the 11th hour and why? Because they chose to withhold the information. If the reason the patch has taken so long is that it has to be certified across the platforms then that means what the patch does has been set in stone since being sent for verification. They would therefore have had patch notes at this time but as I say, chose to withhold them until the day before release.

I suspect one reason for this is that if you've been waiting nearly a month for an issue to be fixed, you might keep playing and holding off that refund if you're oblivious and living in hope that it'll be fixed and any advanced notice that it ISN'T fixed in the update is going to put you off straight away.

I believe the appropriate term for this is omnishambles. And that's even assuming this title update is smooth greased silk.

I feel that posting on these Ubi forums is a total waste of time.

No response to the infinite spawning levels. The devs sure know this is an issue for many of us. It's been mentioned here countless times and on nearly every other forum where this game has been discussed.

Same goes for ill-conceived resistance points. Far too easy to acquire and it makes the game too restrictive and not much fun, unlike other FC games. Who thought it was a good idea? I bet Ubi don't use this system in any future games they develope and the same goes for the repeated forced captures.

Like I said; nobody at Ubi is listening, however, at least this has been a lesson for me. I'm done with buying games at full price on their release day. I'll now buy second hand after 6 months or so and only after reading forum posts from real gamers, not review sites, to see how the game plays and what's been patched and what hasn't. Anyway, enough of all that. I'll be off down to my local games shop tomorrow lunchtime - they are currently offering £30 cash and I'm wiling to take the hit, after all, this is by far the worst Far Cry game in the series and I'll be glad to be rid of it.

Good to see and hopefully the patch actually works now for the players like me who have had to wait over a month for the credit loop error to be fixed in order to play ...

I also want to know what us players who have had to wait so long for now and miss out on the various live events get as compensation for this game breaking error that should of been picked up at the QA testing stage before game realease ..

No mention of fixing the d-pad / controller issues??? I haven't been able to play this game at all since day one and there have been plenty of threads complaining about it. You suck Ubi!!

I've been waiting anxiously, checking the forums semi regularly (luckily there are other great games to play), but I'm very unhappy to see after so much being made of the issue with the Light Em Up quest glitch where the silo count is stuck at 13/14 it still hasn't been fixed!

What's going on here guys? Please respond ASAP, thank you.
