Today, I thought I would play a full 7 hours of Rainbow Six and draft some statistics. These statistics measure the amount of cancer in the community, focusing on unprovoked kicks and betrayals in casual mode.
My statistics concluded the following;
- 56 unprovoked vote-to-kicks
- 27 unprovoked betrayals
... all within 7 hours. That's an average of one betrayal of every second match. And when I say "unprovoked", it means I did not vote-to-kick, shoot, betray, or even make eye contact with any team mates. They did this out of their own enjoyment.
This is completely unacceptable and it needs to be brought to the attention of the Ubisoft team. I am tired of not being able to enjoy the experience of this game because some 12 year old kid gets off to killing or voting to kick someone.
SOLUTION
Vote-to-kick: The best solution to this is that Ubisoft should either raise the penalty for misuse or abuse of the vote-to-kick option or remove it.
Betrayal: Likewise, if people choose to betray someone because of their own childish enjoyment, the penalties should be raised and they should be banned. Otherwise, remove the feature of betrayal.
Do the community a favor and clean up the cancer in the community.
Play ranked.
"...or even make eye contact with any team mates..." i loled hard
how bout that, typicall day in casual mode: https://youtu.be/n2DFyBkCorY
sums up the state of the community perfectly.Originally Posted by Bruce_Waynes Go to original post
I agree with you 100%. And the excuse to "play ranked instead" is not a viable remedy and quite honestly is not a very intelligent argument in this topic. Although less shenanigans takes place in ranked, it should not be the solution and not everyone has time or cares to play ranked.Originally Posted by TheTrustee Go to original post
Just do what me and my friends do. If you are playing casual with random people and they start an unwarranted vote against you or mess with you in any way.....just come back next round, team kill one, and injury the others and then back out. Then find another game and a team that isn't full of a bunch of children and enjoy the rest of your gaming experience. We don't tolerate that trash. You wanna be an *** then you're gonna pay for it. Its sad that it's come to the point that in rainbow six siege, a vote=a teamkill.
Terrible advice. They are tracking the tk stat across sessions..how far and to what extent I do not know.Originally Posted by hajibob89 Go to original post
Just back out and forget about it, or get a team (and start a thread asking Ubi to include 4 man teams in match making).
Or you can just do that.Originally Posted by WBBCoop Go to original post
Either way. You can just shrug it off and let people dictate how you enjoy your night or you can give them fair treatment, screw with them back and them find a new game. Atleast I consider the second one a satisfying win in my book compared to just running away because someome wants to be an ***
