How did they “attack a staff member”?Originally Posted by imendars Go to original post
There was nothing rude about the comment either. It’s understandable frustration.
Developers should care about hackers. You know why? It’ll hit them in the pocket.
Its nice to know they use the money we pay them to “eat and other stuff”. I never would have guessed that. Thanks for the education.

Theyre job is strictly managed by project managers.
If you work in bigger companies, perhaps you know how it works.
Developers there dont do what ever they want, but only what they are told.
They simply dont have time to do anything else. After the work day is over, he, like any other worker, does something else, work unrelated.
Obviously you do care at some level cause you are debating about hurting the Devs feelings. I admit there should be no reason to get rude, but there is a point. Now in my job and just about every job, you are paid to take care of the things you know and the things you don't know. Ubisoft has been around a very long time and know about hackers, the have a product and customers to protect. Otherwise the whole ToS can be replaced with Who Cares? blanket statement.Originally Posted by imendars Go to original post

And i can assure you that developer every single thing he does is strictly managed.
Developer and project manager works together. Specific issue is assigned to developer, he does the job and sends issue back to project manager.
There are lots of issues and new things to do.
So, when project managers can afford to put some developers on hacking issue, developers will do it.
You see? Thats why i say devs dont care.
@imendars, allow me to disagree with you first off on few things very specific:Originally Posted by imendars Go to original post
1. Noone has been rude to a mod, from as far as I read all the comments, they have all been kept civilized
2. you mention somewhere that developers have better things. On this point I disagree with you for the reason that if you read the section related to cheaters right in The Division homepage, it is said that they believe in fair and good gaming hence whenever an instance of cheating, glitch abusing ... is noticed, we can use the section of the customer support to report. The developers job is not only to make a game but it extends to ensure that the game mechanics remain viable and offers a fair gaming experience.
When there is an evidence of game breaking or abuse, this has to be fixed. Developers reactivity or responsiveness to fix bugs and glitches are the key for the success and the longevity of the game.
I am not a day one player but if a game relies on player when it comes to cheat and glitch reporting, then the developers should be quicker to have it fixed once it is reported.
Ubisoft forum is a social plate-form where mods report to the QA and devs team bugs originally reported by us players.
Coming back to the topic originating the creation of this thread, I just want add that the majority of those who still stick with the game have the strong feeling Massive and Ubisoft only take action when such glitches are reported by content creators that have a larger headcount of followers or subscribers and that is unfortunate.
@Massive and @Ubisoft, if you feel like the videos on YouTube are not enough then fine I will drop the ball, but the least you can do is to fairly communicate that something is being done, please.
For the sake of the very few of us who still stick around. Dont make us feel like you hear us but don't listen to us. This is your chance to show that we don't need to be community content creator on YouTube to have our voices heard.
You said that you would keep supporting the game, now prove it.
You either work in an extremely small company, or there is a language barrier here. You don't need a developer to ban cheaters/hackers.Originally Posted by imendars Go to original post

The same things happen in World of Tanks forum.
Understandable, but i wish there were more interesting threads and conversations.
I started playing this game few weeks ago and decided to read forums...
And what do i find? The same things.
I feel like happy players dont post on forums. Is it only me or its actually true?
Sorry. I suppose i dont help the issue at all...![]()

Happy or not, if we see an issue, shouldn't it get fixed? Or as a Dev no one told you so you are happy to ignore it. I understand there are paths that must be followed to get to a fix. Just to come in and blame us the players because you normally set on the opposite side of the fence. Everyone should be entitled to their points of view, but also must understand that others don't always see it our way and refuse to listen or understand. Which you will see more then plenty in these forums.Originally Posted by imendars Go to original post

Not necessarily true. It is a community where players are able to express themselves, good or bad. Gives us a place to defend or make suggestions, they don't always have to be a sign of a unhappy player.Originally Posted by Trippul G Go to original post
