Two extra people would be the most I would want in campaign and even then without changes to difficulty, it would be a total cakewalk as the game isn't hard as it is. Even having 2 AI companions make most things easy even on the hardest setting. Playing with a halfway decent Co-op player and the game is easy, adding more and it would almost be boring unless you are just wanting to run and gun everything dead in 10 seconds. Now if adding players added enemies to bases and spawns then may work, but otherwise game isn't set up for it. May I suggest you try GR WildLands.....
Have to agree with Modmc on this one. .....at least if the current difficulty level remains the same.
I played coop with a friend and found many of the engagements were way too easy. Several times we literally said "was that it?". The gameplay in coop was so mediocre, we stopped trying. .....just another element of this game that just made the whole experience feel so shallow to me.
btw, I played GRW for months with friends and it was one of the best coop experiences I ever had. Perhaps that's part of the reason we found FC5 so easy.

However, I would hate to see enemies turn into bullet sponges. It's already bad enough as it is IMO. I would prefer a more realistic damage model for both enemies and the player (perhaps without regen). It really feels like there should be another difficulty level in this game.
