Sandbaggers are really killing this game for me

Hey, This isn't really a bug, but I think should be posted in technical support, If I am wrong, please direct me to the proper place to post this. Anyways, I am currently bouncing from PVP rank 45-47, without really any hope of getting much further. I believe this is due to players purposely losing matches to stay out of the legendary ranking, which is something I have been working very hard to do. Ya, I admit it. At the moment I have no life, My girlfriends in prison, and I have no job. So I play south park phone destroyer religiously. I have only seen this problem getting worse. I know it may be difficult to detect on redlynx's end, but there has got to be a way to tell who is losing on purpose and who isnt. I have seen tons of level 6 units being used while playing at rank 45, and the rest of their cards are at level 5. I believe that is preposterous, the only reason I could see for it would maybe be the season change. But I am unclear on what exactly happens when players reset back to non legendary status. I wouldn't know and would love to know as I have been stuck at rank 45 for about a month and a half, while gaining several level 5 cards, learning more and more how to counter peoples amazing offensive rushes, and by learning my own rushes. still... I have not been able to get past rank 48 (which happened when I gained my first few level 5 cards), but dropped back to rank 45 very quickly after being matched up to cards of similar strength. Regardless of what people are saying about how the matchmaking works, from experience, I have seen that you are matched up with players with a similar deck and similar card levels. I don't know if the matchmaking is done through similar wins and losses because we cannot see how many losses we have. Only wins and perfect wins. I don't even think the game records that stuff accurately. According to the game I have won around 1400 rounds. with around 1100 perfect wins... Which would mean that I mostly win when there is a bad connection for the other player or they are losing on purpose or afk. I highly doubt that. and I highly doubt I have beaten that many people without having my new kid get hurt at all. SOOOOO i have gotten off track here, but WHat I am meaning to say is, I very much so would like to earn my right into legendary status, but do not ever see that happening because of sandbaggers. I will not be spending anymore of the little money I do make on this game as of now, because nothing is being done about these Iceholes ruing the game experience for others. Is it really that difficult to detect people sandbagging? Is anyone else having this same issue? DO I just suck at this game? WHat is the issue here? I am actively upgrading my cards to higher levels, only to be met with similarly leveled opponents, no matter what rank I am playing at. I have almost given up the thought of becoming legendary in any sense and may not deserve it. I don't know. Does anyone?

    Hi there, man!
    Sorry about your girl!
All I can tell is that the game keeps getting tougher and tougher, so the only thing for us to do is to keep making our strategies better and better and get a good team to lvl up cards in a good speed.
This is my second second time getting into legendary league and know that it's worst in there, is like hell, everyone have good cards at high lvls, so it's 100% strategy and upgrading cards. Don't give up, the game is really great and there's a lot of strategy to keep learning and when you think to got it, paaammm, they wash your face again.
When you get into legendary league you have to suffer like ten losses on a straight to get lvled to your actual lvl. But that makes us keep improving our visions on the game... And sometimes makes us spend some money to improve cards.

Good luck and don't forget that it's a game.

You're on the right track if you're starting to get a few commons to level 5, so don't give up yet! As stated above, you just need to have a good team that is fulfilling all requests and then grind out those mats so you can get your commons to 5 and rares to 4, that is plenty to bust into legendary. Each 4 to 5 common will only take a week of requests, so it won't take you long. You may get some unwinnable matches on the way (agreed it's really silly to be deranking in silver if you have level 6s) but you should win more than you loose, and that will bump you over the edge.

Once you do get to L, don't be to freaked out by what you read. With commons at 5 and rares at 4, you will be able to hold your own at 3000+ as long as you are a good player. Cracking top 1000 definitely requires a more upgraded deck, but the game becomes more about precise energy management and making perfect trades.

What I learned playing this game is that you cannot keep playing at your potential rank and expect progress. At some point, you will peak off and you just will NOT win anymore. So, this is why people de-rank. To get the wins they need to open lockers to complete events.

Some people do not like evenly matched games for several reasons.
    1. It's like flipping a coin to see who wins. You have a 50/50 chance of winning. It sucks more when you lose 3 times in a row thinking that the matches are even.
    2. Whenever you lose, you automatically think they de-rank.
    3. It takes longer and more effort to get your win or free PVP pack.

I found that even de-ranking in Legendary ranks, I'm still playing people who are at my potential rank. My potential rank is somewhere in the 3000's. I spent a good long time couple events ago trying to get the points from the "special" cards to use to get my packs. I had a hard time because all the cards they wanted me to use are at level 1 and 2. So in the process of trying to get enough points, I ended up in the 10,000's rank. Once the event was over, I got easier chances to win for my PVP packs. And surprisingly enough, even at rank 10,000, I lost to a player who had level 6 cards.

I already mentioned this before, if they want an actual even matched matchmaking algorithm, they need to match people up based on the amount of upgrades of all their cards and only rank based on the amount of phones destroyed (not wins). But the 2nd part only works if the 1st part is in place. Otherwise, people will derank to destroy more phones. But having the 1st thing in place, the matchmaking by upgrades, deranking becomes useless because you will still be matched up with someone with a similar deck.

Why by phones destroyed and not wins? Let's say number 1 is ranked with 10 wins. Rank #2 and below has to get at least 11 wins to pass him. And let's say nobody else is getting past 7 wins. Yet they destroyed 100 phones trying. #1 then can just sit back and not login and collect whatever reward for so little work. Yet #2 has put in more time and effort and is not rewarded for any of that progress. This is why someone who destroyed over 100 phones over 7 wins should be placed higher than someone who destroyed only 10 phones (minimum) to 30 phones (maximum) to attain 10 wins.
