Piercing bullets need a little rework

I was firing at an armored enemy with my 40/70 loaded with piercing bullets. This is what I noticed:

    1) piercing bullets would be meant to 'pierce', nevertheless I fired at the enemy knee like 2-3 times and he didn't even fall on his knees....I mean, 2-3 piercing bullets directly on the knee at mid/close range, and he was like nothing happened and kept on firing at me with full accuracy, not even an accuracy loss due to the gun shot at his knee.
I think there should be an animation like he falling on his kness or (when firing at his iron helmet) he should be stunned for like 1 or half second for a piercing shot at his head/helmet

    2) the armored enemies' arms look unprotected just like regular enemies, so a piercing shot at their arms should injury/stun them

Also I think that the base damage of the 40/70 should be a bit increased since it is such a leggendary rifle

I'm speaking of Far Cry 5, not Blood Dragon

I found that some of the heavies in key game points/missions soak up a lot more damage than in the rest of the game.

Still, Far Cry 5 isn't realistic, it's authentic in places but there are plenty of sacrifices made for gameplay as in the end it's a casual videogame.

If you are so keen on hardcore realism simulation, ArmA2 and 3 are currently on sale

They don't even have to be "heavies" - the primary character JASON for instance......, in my first play-through I hit him 3 times, with the Whitetaiil Militia State 50 caliber sniper rifle - twice making him literally get the damaged heath symbol, but yet because of his death scene written into the script - which they could not avoid having in the story - he survived to make his final comments before dying.

Now he was simply a "speck" on the horizon when I shot him and the two times his damaged symbol showed up these were direct headshots, (the 3rd may have been upper torso) but who survives 50 caliber headshots? Apparently only those with story content lines left.

PS - to the OP - btw, sir those bullets you are referring to are AP (armor-piercing) bullets......

BOT_ Coyote, if you are looking for realistic shooter try Escape from Tarkov! But Far Cry is not a military realistic game. It would be rather boring in that case. Far Cry is made for a large audience! Game is fun and laughter, beautiful nature and a story, tragedy and comedy, relaxation, holiday and feast!
