Day 2: Xbox One.
Still running incredibly well for me. I cannot believe how big of a difference it’s made. Now, when I lose or win, it was undoubtably my own doing either way.
I’ve yet since the patch gotten angry bc of a button not responding when I KNOW I hit it in time.
Again, great job on this Ubi. Although I feel like this should’ve been done at launch... and we’d have a much larger player base if so.
Maybe something with controller remaping, not lag comp?Day 2: Xbox One.

No, I’ve done nothing with remapping. I was on before the servers went down for the patch, and on as soon as it was live. I could, undoubtedly see a difference. It’s much closer to gameplay on PC now. Combat seems smoother, and much more responsive.Originally Posted by SpaceJim12 Go to original post
Well, in my opinion gameplay on PC still enough away from perfect. So, maybe lag comp did something for console, but surely not for PC.No, I’ve done nothing with remapping. That's what I think as well, though not noticing a difference of 33ms on a 60fps+ game isn't surprising. I've never ran into this action delay the blog post talked about, everything happened as I input it and it's the same now.Originally Posted by SpaceJim12 Go to original post
There's just no difference on PC that I can't classify as placebo, at least for me.
There is no noticeable difference on PC... it’s always ran as smooth (and seemingly slower because of that) and responsive as console NOW does.Originally Posted by EvoXTalhante Go to original post
I’ve played both, and on PC I’ve always felt that I had ample time to react and respond to attacks, whereas console required a much faster input, and even then sometimes just didn’t register in time, even when I KNEW I responded fast enough.
Well, maybe I got lag comp wrong, but in my opinion this not something that makes game ran smooth, but something that should compensate huge difference between high and low latency players. There is no noticeable difference on PC... it’s always ran as smooth (and seemingly slower because of that) and responsive as console NOW does.

Cause on PC, I've never have problem with players that have latency under 40-45 ms. It was always completly reactable and fine. But when you meet someone who up 100ms latency, it's hell to play. And lag comp did nothing at all with this. Just now you can clearly see WHY someone attack you trough block, immune to CGB etc. Just open scoreboard and see this 100+ number in last column.
And problem that shown up with dedicated servers, that one 100+ latency guy could affect to whole game session you're in.
I don’t know what was supposed to happen, I only kno that when I block in time, it actually blocks. And when I counter GB in time, it actually works.Originally Posted by SpaceJim12 Go to original post
I also know that I can consistently block LA spam from Ara’s, and before that wasn’t always possible.
