    File size too large won't publish.

    Somehow i exceeded the budget even though i checked map validation along the way. My Global budget is at only 75% or so but still, it won't publish. Nothing is maxed out!? Please helpl! I can "explore map" and "play map" and it passes "map validation" but it won't publish??!?

    Strange. Could be a grid budget problem? Turn on your budget grid In The editor options and look for any grids being highlighted.

    What is the actual message you are getting when you try to publish? Maybe you forgot to take screenshot of map or place all required objectives?

    Error. Saving map failed: map file too large. please remove assets or simplify terrain.

    Have a screen shot and all objectives are in place, it passes map validation. And lets me "play" the map.?

    It's as if the file is corrupted. 40+ hours worth of work down the drain... Ugh.

    Feeling devastated.

    It kind of says there in the error, no?

    A bit more explanation: MS / Sony has a limit to how big a UGC file (User Generated Content) can be. Unfortunately, you've hit that limit.

    The budget bars show how many objects you can place in regards to how many can the Dunia Engine handle. It doesn't take into account the actual map size in MBs.

    So don't feel devastated. Just smooth out some of the terrain, remove some of the trees and you should be good. You might have to use Save As after you make these changes, though.
