I love the optimism, but the next game was started mere months after this one was launched.Originally Posted by JHemp12 Go to original post
It's highly unlikely that they'll have improved their servers. They might have more of them if they've got any sense, but that's also optimistic.
As far as I can tell they'll do a hard sell and manage to make another quarter billion before it dies a similar death to this one. Then they'll string their players along for as long as possible to get those micro-transactions flowing.
It's the same trick they've been using on this one.
Promise they'll fix it, add stuff we don't want. Promise they'll fix it, change stuff we didn't ask for ... repeat.
They've done this since day one.
I'm just hoping that the next game is not always online. That way we can still play when they break the servers over and over again![]()
Amen. But that seems unlikely, IMO. This always online stuff is garbage.Originally Posted by electricbil2009 Go to original post
The way they have the client server relationship in this game is never works. They started on the protocols just after release. Snowdrop isn't going to change much after that and they will have good servers at launch like this game had. If the player base drops off like happened they will reduce and switch servers again.
