- add a key to interrupt the reload for the pump shotguns and the 45/70. It is absurd that you can't interrupt the reloading process. Oh yeah there's a way actually: pressing LMB which will also result in wasted gun fire
- fix the chopper machine gun damage which (on hard) will result in an insta-kill with 1 shot
- add the 'hold the breath' feature for the 45/70 too
Guys I also have some questions, I'll post 'em here instead of opening a new thread:
1) I noticed in my bag that I can craft 'bags of rosemary'. what are those for?
2) Just found out I can change baits, is it any useful? I've been fishing so far using just the standard one and always caught fishes
3) If I unlock the parachute skill and/or the wingsuit, will these be actually 'equipped' by my character thus changing the appearance, or they won't be displayed on the character as visible gear (outside the moment you use them) ?
1) It's not rosemary it's 'oregano', at least the bags you pick up are. You get high when you take it (ie. the screen goes weird). Nothing else that I have seen of any use.
2) Each type is supposed to be for a specific kind of fish. That being said I beat all the records in John's area using just the first rod and no perk. It took awhile especially with the sturgeons but was more fun and challenging than the fish tiring out after 5 seconds. Plus you have to fish for awhile to get the record weights. I caught 45 pallid sturgeons before I got one that beat the record (55lbs I believe).
3) They are invisible until used. As far as I know.
The bait for the fishing rods are used to lure specific types of fish. Such as the 'Hybrid Sturgeon' being more effective at catching better sturgeons, for example.
The wingsuit and parachute do not cosmetically appear unless they are in use.
I'm not sure what you mean by rosemary, but I have 'oregano' in my menu.
Along with the alcohol, I have no idea what either of these do for you as a benefit, so I've never used them either.
If I had to guess, it probably has to do with the ESRB/PEGI rating the game would get. I don't know much about PEGI or other international ratings, but the ESRB rating of M pretty much covers everything; in the US region at least, having explicit mentions and use of drugs isn't much of an issue concerning the game rating.
On the other hand, I know the Australian game ratings board is notorious for banning games entirely for various reasons (example: L4D2 before they passed the adult game rating act), so it doesn't seem so far-fetched to put stock in that reason.
It's the same reasons many violent games don't include children, because some countries have explicit bans on minors being in violent situations or games, depending on the context and regions.
I know that certain rating boards also rate games and treat the rating different if characters use the drugs, and if the players themselves use drugs, either willingly, through coercion, or force.
