It's Been Long Enough Without A Response

I've seen countless threads on multiple sites including this one discussing the topic of end game. Lovers of the Far Cry series everywhere are begging and pleading for a way to repopulate the world with cultists, replay missions, have a new game+, just SOMETHING. (All of those would be lovely honestly). Yet no response from anyone. Ubisoft is nowhere to be found or heard from while the entirety of the community countlessly brings up this horrible flaw in the game. People are even having issues participating in weekly challenges because their game is empty and dead with no cultists to be found anywhere after they've been forced by the game to complete the game. If Ubisoft does not speak up soon on this issue or at least give us a quick update on what's been going on, I fear for this series. It's been long enough.

Yeah, at least on GRW forum you got spam responses to let you know someone is reading your stuff. I have posted a number of recommendations I would like to see implemented and haven't had one response. I think someone else mentioned this lack of interaction on the mods part and the Mods response was to go "We're here!" and then nothing else anywhere.

As I mentioned in my nit-picks, even adding the ability to re-play missions at all would be a nice and simple step in the right direction.

Like being able to replay the intro mission and the finale to get the other endings would be nice; this way I don't have to queue up a crappy YouTube video with a 30 second channel intro and terrible, unfunny commentary by Joe Blow from Miami, Florida.

This is the closest thing I've seen to some type of "response"(if you can call it that) from Ubisoft to NG+ in FC5. I also saw this posted by someone else in this forum about a week ago. It took a YouTuber to post something instead of getting a response on the forums from Ubi. Just sharing, don't shoot the messenger.

Not one word from Dan Hay (except retweeting people who just LOVE the game) 😒. Especially infuriating as he wouldn't shut up on the run up to it's release....
    Strange that 🤔

    ....yeah, that was me.

I won't pretend to know what the SOP is that they are bound by here vs. other Ubi forums like GRW. .....but yeah, I can agree that the lack of communication overall needs to be dealt with (if for any reason) simply out of respect for the community / fans / customers.

Either way, I have confidence that this feedback is still being reviewed by staff so I think it is still important for folks to continue to voice their concerns, suggestions, critiques and kudos so that it can be passed along.

    it's a tactic. they're "laying low" guys...

my guess is that ubi is relying on the "vocal minority theory," waiting out those who have been the most vocal about many of the game's lingering issues, in hopes that the casuals will stick around to keep the platform/brand afloat. counterintuitive, but hey thats ubi.

fact is, there are things missing from this game that suggest far more than a simple oversight. i've been saying it for years, but ubi doesn't make games: they employ focus groups to reverse engineer "interactive experiences." in the end, it's whatever best supports their **** ubiplay steam-wannabe platform.

sure, every now and again, a "decent" game comes along, but trust when i say that is NEVER the goal. obv there are some really talented, hard-working people who had to run an ubi-administered gauntlet to make those games as fun and functional as they are--which again, is the exception, not the rule.

time will tell, but my money is on a careful strategy with methodically released patches. ffs, we're still waiting on that day/night bug fix... j/k, i'm playing GoW. couldn't imagine going back to an ubi product now

If you want to talk about DRM platforms, my Steam account turns ten years old tomorrow, and I have to say that as a service, UPlay is much better-run than Valve has ever done with Steam; in the last 6-7 years especially after they stopped filtering what games are allowed on Steam, and such.

UPlay has a lot of things I really wish Steam had, such as achivements not being so abusable like they are on Steam (with using an unlocker program to cheat with no recourse), and how on UPlay earning them actually has a purpose because the coins can be used to unlock content.

Ubisoft may suffer from a lot of errors in design and feedback from the management influence, but at least they give a semblance of trying to improve a title after launch (Seige's Operation Health, Wildlands adding non-crap flight modes and colourblind modes). Even the transparency they give is now is better than the transparency of Valve being a wall made of depleted uranium.
