My 3rd map (and my personal favorite of my all maps so far) is finally done. I figured I'd go for a city map this time. Had a lot of fun making it, so I hope you all can enjoy it and give your thoughts on it.
This is the first map where I attempt to make special loadouts for each team. Each team (Cop vs Cult) has two loadouts to choose from (Assault and Sniper). They shouldn't vary too much between the two teams. I didn't want the teams to play too differently since this is the first time I'm trying this sort of thing.
The exact contents of each loadout are as follows:
Assault (Cop): Spas-12, AK-M with reflex sight, P226, Bolted Pipe, Remote Explosive (x2), Smoke Grenade (x1), Grenade (x2), and Repair Torch
Assault (Cult): M133, AK-47 with reflex sight, 1911, Spiked Bat, Molotov (x3), Smoke Grenade (x1), Dynamite (x2), and Repair Torch
Sniper (Cop): 45/70- T with optical sight, A-99, Aluminum Bat, Proximity Explosive (x3), Throwing Knife (x6), Smoke Grenade (x3), Grenade (x2), and Binoculars
Sniper (Cult): 45/70 with optical sight, SMG-11, Shovel, Proximity Explosive (x3), Throwing Knife (x6), Smoke Grenade (x3), Dynamite (x2), and Binoculars
There are also 4 different weapon pickups scattered throughout the map, to not only mix things up, but also to hopefully encourage players to fight in different areas in order to obtain access to them. There's a .50 cal, grenade launcher, LMG, and flamethrower.
Each team spawns with two vehicles (technically 3, which the 3rd cannot be driven). One transport, and the other an armed truck. Like the loadouts, each team will have different vehicles.

Nice work! Personally I hate to see city maps all suffering the same issue, which is that they're often made perfectly flat. It's a bit unnatural, cities do have hills after all.
Other than that, there's a good amount of detail and probably just the right amount of cover from what I can see. I would also personally try to disguise the ends of the map a bit more. You can clearly see how the massive city just suddenly "ends" and becomes open sky.

I'd hate to reply so late, but I was hoping to get the chance to play my map first. Maybe give my own thoughts on how the map turned out.
I was FINALLY given the chance to do so today, and I'd say that I'm pleased with it, especially when compared to the last two maps I did.
I did notice after playing that it got a slight decrease in the rating. It was a 4, and I believe it is now a 3.9 or something. Not too bad, but I wish I could know why somebody disliked and use that feedback to improve the map.
And lastly, thank you to everyone here giving feedback! It's good to hear that my work on this map has paid off. The edge of the map and trying to disguise it was a bit of a problem for me since I wasn't really thinking about that when I was creating it (oops...). That could definitely be a future update later down the road, but I kind of already have plans for a 4th map and would like to get to work on that.![]()
