For Honor uses a faction population system to dole out bonuses to certain groups that need it. Vikings get a troop boost because they are the smallest faction population.
This fine other than the fact that this counts total population of every account under a faction, rather than the active players. Samurai have the highest total population but seem to have the least number of players online (percentage wise, recalling info from another old thread, I'll try and find a link). The devs have also said that the Vikings seem to win more matches that they participate in. So you have a team that wins more often, and you give them a bonus, it's not a surprise that they'll steam-roll the other factions.
I'm a little curious about what would happen if the Population bonuses were changed or adjusted to online accounts from the season.
Just my 2 cents,

And if Vikings sweep it, what happens? Moar prizes for us!?Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
Vikings will still get their first place rewards and the 2nd and 3rd place winners will likely be decided the same way we usually decide ties, by the faction that deploys the most war assets.Originally Posted by Tirik22x Go to original post
