I don't understand why people want to be carried just to get a patch, mask, etc. Yeah you could wear it on your character but you're not wearing it with honor.
When I beat Stolen Signal it felt so good because I knew I had to work hard for it from beginning to end. Also I wouldn't have felt the same if I jumped in just to play the last stage without beating the previous stages.
I like to achieve things for myself, don't get that sense of achievement until I have. I don't matchmake and definitely wouldn't ask anyone to take me through any of the incursions. Those and lengendary are my unicorns. I probably won't get it first, maybe even tenth time around but one day (maybe in a year or so lol) I will. Hollow victories leave a bad taste in my mouth, my son took my account through dragons nest. Wasn't happy and I dont count that incursion as complete, at least not until I complete it for myself.
I wear my patch for the playlist for this event because I earned it. My son and I did the playlist. That was the first incursion I had completed after trying about 4/5 times a couple of months ago. To be honest, I have no idea how we even managed it. He is very gung ho' at times. Which is the reason he went down, but was such a relief to plant that last explosive.
I watched my husband do stolen signal, he ran it with a couple of his buddies but exactly the same with falcon lost they wouldn't listen to him. He still hasnt completed it as he refuses to do the incursions with them anymore. He ran with skillz for falcon lost flawless (he had done it many times before but the group never managed flawless) not because he couldn't do it, but because he knew skillz knew exactly what to do. He was fed up of getting to the last bit and everyone going down. I'd been watching him stream all day, helping others along for flawless. My hubby hadn't completed it before flawless. But knew exactly what to do and offered to help take a team through with him, so he wasn't having to keep an eye on 3 others, they pretty much carried 1 each. In turn, finally got his own flawless. He doesn't wear the mask that required the flawless playlist. He just wanted to collect it. Skillz thanked my hubby afterwards, for knowing exactly what to do and help guide the other two in the group.
