This event is a nightmare!!!! Grand Central Legendary bugged!!!

Everytime I get to the end it resets as if I died. Everytime the bosses come out they disappear and it resets. Total mindblower. One time Gohawk comes out and my toon keels over and dies. It was the weirdest thing ever. Plus I’m loving the grenade mechanics.... more than ever. Especially when you lose one whole bar the second you see the red ring then you go into bleed effect and the grenade hasn’t gone off yet. It’s not like it’s a slow bleed effect either. You’re literally losing big chunks of health. That’s just one grenade.

Jesus Christ this mission is hard on legendary.

I did all the rest but this took me a couple of goes. I enjoyed it but it was probably the most challenging mission ive done, including incursions.

I'm still yet to even attempt them let alone get to the end, I won't matchmake anything so unless I can do it while gaming with my son, it won't get done on xbox. Possibly on PS4 as i game with the hubby and he is less gung ho. That would have set me off no end it doing that though.

Think there is maintenance later on today. Maybe the bugs will be fixed.

the end is brutal. ive beat it a few times solo but ive also just quit in frustration a handful of times too after 10 or so attempts at the end. My favorite was over the weekend where 3 times a JTF comes out of nowhere steps in front of me the very second im shooting my sticky. THe first time he did it, i only had one boss left and was basically done. It was one of those times you put the controller down and just go walk it off.

    Do you use tactician?

I'm reluctant to even try with my son as he is gung ho' about everything. Have the walk away moments regularly but only when gaming with him. So think I will definitely give it a miss on Xbox. Not sure my patience stretches that far.

Tactician all the way. I use a sticky and seekers for most of the mission until the end then i found it better to switch my seekers to a turret. It seems to keep them from flanking me as much but has its flaws as well as they instantly blow it up if its not placed well and that isnt always an option as if you expose yourself then you just get spammed with the Legendary grenade crap where you take damage and get stood up before the grenade is ever even there. Im searching for a new answer as im failing more than im succeeding here of late. Gung Ho def will not work on this mission IMO unless you just have a team of studs and my team consists of me.

It’s not easy, but the best way I’ve found is, once you get to the point right before the last part when all the bosses spawn, you have to rush and push forward so they spawn at the beginning of the ramp.

If you wait and have them spawn where you get backed up by the last ammo box at the back of the map, they will pin you back and your dead.

Ive been thinking about trying that again, the one time i tried it it broke the game and nothing spawned even after i went back all the way to the back to attempt to trigger it again. Ended up having to off myself with a few grenades and restart. I was doing fine back there the first week it was out but the last week ive been getting my arse handed to me. iIll give that another go tonight.

That's what I thought, will give it a miss on Xbox definitely. I might end up murdering him, bad enough doing resistance with him. Almost 19 and still the connection is lost between his ears and thought process.
    Thanks Moesuvious

I stand a viable chance with my husband on PS4 though, it would seem. At least he has done it and knows what to do without wiping.

I will keep that in mind Killer - I know sometimes during other activities they pin you in so to speak. Always a great idea to try and get that push before they get chance.

As soon as you clear that last wave, just rush forward.
I’ve had them spawn in front of the barricades all the way at the beginning of the ramp.

This way, you can fight will space to fall back to.

Never had it glitch out on me the way you’ve described tho, but this game.... you never know.
