You know what, if they would have come out and said they were making a "Satire" Ghost Recon game, I would have been pissed but I would have understood the concept better... parts of this movie were funny as hell, I gotta admit that.

Yeah, it's almost like they could have made the squad all talk like chickens or appear as thin as paper from the side, with enemies that had enormous comedy heads and a switch for infinite health. Maybe pink bunny suits, soldiers riding turkeys, peg-leg pirates and Christmas present robots. What a betrayal of the franchise that would be! ... Only ... they did all that before.

I think very little of Narco Road, it was a homage gone wrong and an opportunity wasted, but let's not pretend the rainbow Llama was anything more than comic relief(I've never even seen it in game) or that the franchise hasn't added frivolity in before.
