I clearly want different things from this game to the majority, but if Ubisoft do decide to continue supporting the single-player with added content, my preference certainly wouldn't be for more enemies (at least not for the sake of it).
It would be fine as an option, but for me the enemies in this game are a distraction, something I have to grind through, a barrier to what I really want to do. So after liberation, and to maintain my interest, I would simply like to see the addition of more side missions. Some of them would inevitably involve battles with enemies, but I'd like to see a variety of additional side missions, from simple delivery / pick-up jobs to fishing comps, races etc. In other words stuff that keeps my interest, but allows me to chill and not worry about having to deal with damn peggies round every bend.
Oh, I know about the confirmed DLC - I may give the Vietnam one a go, providing it can be played in SP offline and isn't too expensive, but I'm talking about content which may be drip-fed for a while, in the same way R* did with GTA V.Originally Posted by Lethal.Hamster Go to original post
I'd probably be willing to drop £7 for a 'Side-Mission Pack' of some sort.
i would doubt there would be any other dlc other than the three but i would agree with you i quite like the small dlc over the big pointless play once junk, i would say though it will be daily s community events and thats about it.
after playing ghost recon wild lands ive no confidence in ubi to give us any good dlc, i mean the dlc in GRW was at best mediocre and had very little replay ability. ACO was good but still ive not seen a DLC in that game that interests me enough to go back and play it, WD2 was a fantastic game and had a vibrant world that they could have done so much stuff with yet they didn't. and even rainbow six siege a game i love is so broken that i question my sanity every time i play it.
ubi are so lazy with game design that its getting harder to tell each one apart ACO,WD2,GRW and now FC5 they all follow the standard formula, open world, enemy that roams the world, convoys(or the games equivalent), outposts to liberate and a reasonably believable story with a good amount of side missions.
its quick easy and repackage able next year.
