I suspect it was aimed at me for daring to ask the question in the first place.

What I really loved about Far Cry 2 was the day night cycle which occured no matter what you did, the sun that actually moved throughout the day, the fact that if you shot a bush it broke the branch off, the choices of going with APR or UFLL, the choice to make at the end of the story, the music playing throughout all of the gameplay, the missions which had meaning, the learning curve you had to go through to play it on hardcore, the multiplayer which was better than COD's and overall just a very memorable game which I suppose is why there are so many 100's of 1000's of people still talking about FC2.
Yeah I see what you're saying, it had a really good physics system with foilage and particles didn't it ? It was pretty cool I agree, BUT I get a feeling it was cut probably for performance reasons, with so much going on, so much detail added and things to do. I definitely prefer how it is now if I had a choice between those features you mention and more detailed game world filled with interesting locations and things to do I'd take the latter every time.

I'd love both but get the feeling we can't have both. The Devs wouldn't remove all those cool physics and effects if they didn't have too. Also music does allways play ? I'm guessing you mean ambient music yeah ? Yeah I love ambient music too.

I'll tell you one feature I absolutely cannot believe they removed guys. when you stealth kill someone you used to be able to hold them from behind then drag them where ever without them dropping to the ground, I absolutely loved that. Why in the world would they remove that. Lol.

I must be the only player alive who can't get this thing to fill up fast enough! Everyone's going on about how quickly it fills up, but Jacob's is taking me ages. I just want liberation of all three zones so I can start exploring and enjoying the place in peace. I've got loads of side missions and prepper stashes I'm eager to get my hands on.

Be careful what you wish for, most of the forum seem to be complaining about how dull it gets at that point!
It is a bit all or almost nothing for how many hostile NPCs you come across once you liberate.

I cleared out the Zones but saved the final liberation till i had caught up on whatever side missions were left.

I understand there's a risk of losing some side missions, although I'm not aware of doing so after clearing my first two regions (maybe because I play with all HUD and prompts / notifications disabled and I missed something) but I'd rather risk it and leave the side missions until I can do them in peace.

I'm also anticipating I'll grow bored of the 'world' fairly quickly after exploring fully - in the way I did with GTA V. This is why I would pay for a DLC that gave us a whole bunch of new side missions and prepper stashes.

I love how companions will drive you to you're destination in Heli or planes too. It's brilliant.

i don't think the game is garbage but it's dissapointing that the game is just too short. While playing i had tons of ideas which make the game harder to complete and have more content, too!
