However, also like any other stat, once it reaches its maximum bonus for that particular piece of gear, the little green bars will fill up (as you're looking at it in the Optimization Station), and once they're full, you can't raise that stat any higher.

I crafted a new AR thats I think 212GS, has ferocious, determined and destructive

puts my haste at 43%, DTE at 38%, EAD is 47.5%

I am still in process of optimizing my gear pieces still, have a few pieces at 180-187 atm which most if not all started at either 178 or 176.

I've tried to either get haste or DTE on gear, if I get haste I'll mod DTE on that piece, and other way around, if I get DTE I'll try to mod haste. To have a nice balance so Im getting best of both worlds so when I retry amherst solo legendary it'll be easier.

Wait...are you...using the optimization station on gear pieces that are lower than 256 gear score? And then trying to run legendary missions with them?

It sounds like maybe you're running in a lower World Tier (i.e. not WT5?) If that's the case, I would strongly suggest you not waste any time, money, or DivTech (especially not DivTech) doing so, and simply focus on getting better gear from drops/rewards/etc., so that you can move up to WT5. Then once you get there, you can worry about the optimization station. Using it on gear you get before then is literally a waste since you're going to be throwing it away for the much stronger gear you'll get as a result of moving up a World Tier.

And even then, all you really want to be optimizing is classified gear (NOT normal gear sets), and whatever high-end or exotic pieces you use to finish out your builds, and of course your most-used weapons.

No I'll get around 270-278 then optimize them, like atm I have a holster that is now 289 due to optimizing it from 278.

Atm everything minus weapons are sitting at either 280-289 Gear score, due to being optimized numerous times. I have read some where on here that only classified were worth optimizing so I held off til I figured out which class I wanted to stick with / liked before sinking dev tech into gear pieces. Is main reason I been posting so much in this thread which has helped me alot so far thanks to alot of you guys on here.

Oh and when I said 176-178 in the quotes you quoted above, I meant 276-278

Yeah, regular gear set items are basically just placeholders until you get a classified version of it. Makes no sense to optimize them since the classified gear is more powerful.

It definitely can be worth optimizing High End or Exotic gear if you use it in a loadout along with other classified gear. For example a Barrett's vest or Relentless backpack, Savage gloves, etc. They're worth optimizing because there are no direct upgrades to them which have the same functionality, which is not the case when comparing normal gear set items vs. classified gear.

I atm I have both barretts chest and relentless backpack on my tact build, not sure it that setup is actually hurting myself or not due to the chest piece I mean, and losing out on 5 pieces of tactician + the relentless talent. I think most are doing barrett + inventive backpack, so losing out on 5 and 6 perks for tactician doesn't seem to be that big of a deal for to many people as they dont seem that big of a deal to begin with.

Im still trying to craft a lower GS weapon so I dont have to worry about specing into stamina for talents to open up on said weapons.

With classified gears is there even possible builds since u need all 6p? Messing with FA/ST/El i don't count in as build.

Very few people use 6 Piece Tac, because...well, it's not great and the alternatives are generally better.
