Has anyone else had better luck playing with a tactician build than say a 4 piece striker / 2 piece nomad, or 4 piece nomad / 2 piece D3 build?
was able to finish my 1st challenging today when I switch gear and talents to tactician, or what I thought would be a suitable build for that class.
Talents are recov link, fire turret, and pulse
Im at a GS of 274 as tactician but with the other build Im sitting 276-278 roughly. Using a bullfrog and hungry hog as Im waiting for a "The House" and a good assault rifle to drop.
Any tips on a tactician build going forward, like what stats, gear minor/major perks to aim for ect would be much appreciated, also spell the words out as I don't understand the abbreviations just yet to this game.

Yes sir very true.Originally Posted by Sharpandpointy Go to original post
My tac build in my 3rd char. sits at 266 for that reason.
Barrett’s, 4 piece classy tac and inventive pack with lower GS weapons that I can actually proc talents on becuase I have no firearms or stam.
Very important
This really should be on a loading screen for everyone who boots up the game after they hit level 30.Originally Posted by Sharpandpointy Go to original post

Hello!
For Tactician builds I found speccing all into electronics is the way to go. With attributes primaily in
Skill power (Mask, knees and backpack) Enemy armor damage (chest and gloves) Damage to elites (mask and knees)
Skill haste (chest, gloves and holster)
Mods should be electronic mods with skillpower and skill haste.
You'll want one lower gearscore weapon with Determined, Ferocious and Destructive. The reason for the lower gearscore weapon is to unlock the Talents, which will boost your damage to your seeker mines and sticky bomb (not 100% sure if it works with Turret).
I would also work on getting a Relentless backpack as well, as it heals you for 5% damage dealt to enemies. This removes the need for a heal skill, and allows for a little more aggressive playstyle.
With this setup I've seen my pulse turret hit for over 20k per hit and my sticky over 2 million.
Hope this helps!
