Reading the forums its just one error and bug after another. And it was the same with Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Check the FC3 and FC4 forums and there are thousands of complaints, technical issues and bugs that still have not been fixed. More posts about problems than the actual games.
Was the pre-launch testing overlooked or was it known that all of these problems would be encountered by players?
Far Cry 5 is an epic game and just seriously let down by problems that should have been sorted out before release. What's wrong with you people? And nobody from Ubisoft even comments? Its thousands of people affected by problems with the game.
No official apology or anything? Its a bloody disgrace.
100% agree.
The fact that they have said
"It's only been 3 weeks after launch and are working on fixing the game breaking bugs first..."
Is some indication of how releasing buggy unfinished garbage should be seen as normal... and it shouldn't.
The traditional response to bugs, missing items, features, issues seems to be "it will be patched"
... in the meantime we have all paid good money for a clearly unfinished product.
People can say it's playable... and it is, In the same way you can cycle on a bike... with 2 wobbly wheels.
I haven't experienced any bugs either, but I'm happy to admit SeanRubin and I have just been lucky in this respect.Originally Posted by mjrou812 Go to original post
I wasn't saying it so you could get all bitter about it. Just pointing out we're not all experiencing bugs.Originally Posted by mjrou812 Go to original post
I sympathise, I really do. I'm loving this game and would be mortified to be in a position where I couldn't continue.
No. And I certainly didn't say anything at all to warrant such a hostile response from you.Originally Posted by mjrou812 Go to original post
I was nothing but nice and civil by asking a totally harmless question by what bugs the OP has. I never accused him of lying about it.
I am more concerned with the actual intentional design features of this game i.e. no enemies after finishing the campaign, lack of new game+, forced capture, etc. Not that I agree with the level of bugs at release, which worries me because Ubisoft are notorious for poor post release game support and poor communication "IMO".
Oh and @SeanRubin, chill out man, life's too short.
