    Back up saves?

After hearing some horror stories about players losing all their campaiy progress I made it a habit to copy the two game files (settings and campaign data) to a memory stick at the end of every session. But am I wasting my time? There doesn’t appear to be any way to access these saves should I lose my progress any way. I’m on PS4.

Assuming the PS4 isn't like the PC - if you can't re-load those files (thus replacing the ones currently on the PS4), I'd think there's be no point in making a copy. You wouldn't access the files on the memory stick directly in any case.

No, I suppose not. I'm not that clued up on the finer workings of these things but it was something that players were recommended to do when I used to play Fallout 4 on a regular basis. That game did have a load feature, but I never had call to use it for grabbing saves from my memory stick, so I may have been wasting my time there, too.

    Anyway, thanks for the reply.
