This is not first time the patch broke my game. It is the fourth time!
Among all other bugs in game, this is the worst.
4 month ago, the patch broke my game, I had to uninstall the whole game, delete the whole folder and took almost 4 hours to re-download the game.
After a patch back in 2 months ago which also requires re-installing the whole game again, I can never do a clean exit with ForHonor. And I had to close the process from task manager since then.
After the last patch which took almost 30 minutes to download, it broke my game again.
"Cannot start game. it seems some files are broken." please let Uplay verify your installation directory.
Tried running with Administrator for both Uplay or the ForHonor.exe, tried resetting the Nvidia setting for the game, tried disable the antivirus completely, just trying to save a bit of my "unimportant time", yet still failed.
So I did verify my installation directory as error message instructed which made it even worse, again.
Verification states my installation files are corrupted, which I did absolutely nothing beside updating the ForHonor Automatically since I played last night.
Fine! "Download", "Download failed, please check that you have an active connection to the internet and sufficient space on your hard drive, blah blah blah...."
I'm not sure whether this is called disconnected when I can post the thread here, when I can log into Uplay and browsing the store. I have more than 800GB free space on the SSD driver where game was installed. I have more than 400G free space on my SSD OS drive. And I have more than 18TB free space in total on all my other drivers. I'm not sure how to get more sufficient space than I currently have. Wait, I can just free up additional 50G space by shift+delete the redundant ForHonor folder.

You can blame Microsoft for strengthening it's OS security, you can blame antivirus for blocking your process. Let me ask you this, why the hell I don't experience any similar kind issue on any other game I bought.
After 6 months with ForHonor, I had enough. There's a reason for the game with a low popularity and player rating. There's a reason the number of player keeps decreasing after every patch. Please do some testing before releasing the patch. Please consider your reputation seriously..
