Is this your answer Ubisoft - I mean really?

I would go as far as to say the community - as a whole - is desperately asking for decent endgame content. I hope that you (ubisoft) understand, that if we wouldn't give 2 ****s about your game, nobody would bother suggesting anything - let alone play this game for that matter. Many of us really enjoy(d?) the game, and would still keep playing - but the lack of a decent endgame just kills the purpose of even firing the game up.

Anyway, there was this "Ubi-CJ" on these forums pretty much crushing communitys hope for endgame content by stating the following:

"While there are currently no plans to add the kind of options that you're talking about (or a New Game plus mode, which I have also seen mentioned in these forums), we are keeping a close eye on what players would like to be improved or added moving forward and are weighing up our options"

This was an answer to a player asking for something more than just resetting outposts. The player suggested if there could be a new game plus or an option to have the cultists on the street again.

I mean this is just sad thing to hear from ubisoft - saying there are no plans to add such things even tho these forums are filled with threads asking for endgame content. That is just being ignorant towards the community and will result as players just stop to play the game as there's no reason to play it after finishing the main storyline.

I would like to end this post with what the topic says already,

Is this your answer Ubisoft - I mean really?

Here's the link to the thread where the mentioned quote was taken: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...t-Reset-PLEASE!

Don't understand people's obsession with end game content in a single player focused game, it's not a mmo , most these type games don't have end game content. Most you can hope for is new game plus I suppose. Don't see why they can't add that after fixing most important things. Also I agree game shouldn't just be empty at the end, should still be a few pockets of enemy's.

What cultists in the streets after ending do you want......Can't understand. Game is over. Cult is over! No more cultists in the streets. Like no more nazis in the streets after the WW2. Enjoy peaceful and calm life! If you want fight again replay the game! Switch off all huds, hard level!!! But I understand your confusion. Your problem is - you finished the game too fast and could not enjoy everything fully! Next time, playing big good game AAA, don't hurry! Who's rushing you?! Play thoroughly, enjoy slowly.....there will be no more first impression and first walkthrough of this game! Of course, you can replay the game many times later but nothing will substitute the first walkthrough. And walk through the game may take several months or half a year .....but you will enjoy the game fully, you will drink all the juice. And when the game is over you will not regret that something has been missed......you will not dream about the Game Plus! (Talented made game is half of the battle.....but another half is your talented walkthrough.)

The thing to remember is the original answer wasnt no. It was not at the moment, and we are looking at options.

I think most people that are disappointed with this, myself included, we're expecting this game to follow suit with the other games in the series in that when you finished the campaign, you could reset the outposts but it also reset the map back to hostile with enemies roaming around. This game, for whatever reason, they decided to leave out the enemies roaming around part when you reset the outposts. I don't mind liberating the outposts over a few times again but that's a big difference from having this big open world full of enemies. I'm still hopeful they will update this with a patch soon as I've seen the same topic brought up on multiple forums other than this one. It seems to be the biggest complaint.

I have some terrible news. Sorry to be the one who drops this bombshell. Are you ready?

Ubisoft owe you JS! They’re under no obligation whatsoever to GIVE you additional content. This is the problem with modern gamers. In the past games like GTA V have drip fed players free content - for a while that included stuff for the SP game, but even R* stopped supporting SP a long time ago now. Because of things like this, players today expect it. They buy a game, but that’s not good enough for them. They want more, and more to the point feel it’s their right to demand it.

As mentioned, what Ubi-CJ has said is not a direct no, neither is it the "Crushing of the community's hopes and dreams"

What you and those that wish for a "new game plus" have to understand is that the developers and Ubisoft in general AND any company within the gaming industry for that matter, have a road map to follow.

what you are experiencing at this very moment and seeing at this very moment is the simple fact that Ubisoft's visions for FC5's future and "a portion" of the community's vision for FC5's future not aligning and this is what Ubi-CJ means by keeping a close eye upon what is happening. In other words, you cannot simplify the wording enough other than "it's not currently planned but they will keep an eye upon the community's needs and wants".

However I am curious, how exactly would a new game plus work within the world of FC5? The only way I see it working is if the cultists re-take outposts but then that would be pointless for end game content considering you would have eradicated the cultists, their leaders and their whole operation...unless you work with the ideal that someone from Eden's Gate is brave enough to take the place of Joseph and rebuild Eden's Gate.

Personally I think and believe you are just making a mountain out of a mole hill. The game has only been out for less than a month, the team have already got plans and events for the game and will keep tabs on community suggestions and feedback...so what's the problem? Sit back, relax, chill and enjoy the ride.

So the one thing Ubisoft has given us end game is pointless? Because you can reset the outposts end game.

As a child of the 80's i think end game content should be a standard

Going back to Chronotrigger we got New Game+ Even Sonic3 for Sega Genesis let us restart with any chaos emerald we collected from any stage after beating the game

i get calling out entitled people but you seem to get butthurt any time someone criticizes this game even when comparing it to its own prequels
