Animus control pannel is apparently deleted

I created a ticket support, asked about the animus control pannel unavailable, they simply told me this function was deleted.
Dunno if this is real or not but this is the only response i got out of all the forums
    I hope that helped you

Not only that but the game is crashing for me as well. The saves that I have poured almost a thousand hours into don't work for me properly anymore. I love this game beyond human comprehension and I am heartbroken now, I couldn't play because of Windows issues and because I was busy, now I went back in to try and enjoy myself a bit and it's all in vain. I know that the past year has been horrid to all of us but I was not expecting a game so phenomenal and with such incredible feedback to just get abandoned into the aether only several years after its release. Origins is my favourite game because I have been passionate about Egyptology my entire life and now I can't even properly play something I spent money on and dedicated my time to.
I think I can live without the Animus Control Panel, as salty as I am it was removed, but now that the game is also crashing really doesn't make things any better. Mind you I only once had problems with it crashing and that was after a Uplay update. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case once again.

Please, developers, for the love of gods, look into it. I have submitted reports for the crash every time I was given the option, don't abandon this game.

I literally bought AC Origins because of Animus Control Panel (I find Assassin's Creed games too easy otherwise). I didn't play through the game back then, however yesterday I've found out that Ubisoft had removed the very thing that was essential for me. Thanks Ubisoft, way to screw your paying customers over! ....

A bit late to the party. Started playing ACO yesterday and was excited that with ACP I would enable back deadly assassinations.
I contacted support and asked if there was any other way to still modify the game, but the reply was that they advised to not modify the game files - I guess that makes sense - you can break something.
I did not take the supports advice (I recommend following other advices if there could be serious consequences) and made it work (this time it turned out great):
Here are some steps to "hack" the game without ACP:
    1) Create the hacked save file in game
    2) While the game is running, open C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Assassin's Creed Origins\ACP.ini
    3) Modify desired values and save
Take note that the game must be running as the values were reset for me when I changed the content of the file before starting the game.
    I hope this helps.

Same here, I started playing AC Origins because I read about the Animus Control Panel hacked but I got quite disappointed after knowing they removed this option.
