    The character voiceovers

    Hello there!

As you all know in the latest Assassin's Creed Origins we got our hands on the new Animus control panel and its quite fun.
However selecting various characters only makes u hear Bayek or shall I say his voice. Its kinda a unpleasant thing since we do know how most of the characters sound, especially Aya, Leyla and etc.
So this i not really a bug as it was noted before so its more of a suggestion. I mean it would be really cool to have the characters speak their own unique voice.
Especially Aya, i mean come on guys seriously? Anyways i just wanted to know if there are gonna be future updates based on the characters own voice's.
So far the ACP is a fun new addition.

    Cheers!

Is just a skin, the character is still Bayek. In Shadow of Mordor/War works the same way. But it would be nice if they could add female sounds for when the character run, fight etc at least.

Yes,hope can add some females voice, because when you using a female character but in males voice is pretty weird and uncomfortable,no need for dialog, just for jump run attack and so on

I wouldn't expect this to happen. They would have to bring in a voice actor to do it, and that's time and expenses that probably isn't allocated to something like this.

    Totally a valid point.

Aya and Layla are already playable in the game, and already have their own voicework for animations, movement, breathing, attacking, etc. Porting over those sound effects would be appreciated, and a comparatively fast fix, even if they cannot re-record everything.

    Hey all!

I've been sure to add the concern of the voices of the skins not changing into my report for the team. If I hear anything back from them, I will be sure to let you all know!

    Change the pitch, filter, etc.

There's no need to re-record dialogue with a female voice actor. All that is needed is to filter and process the existing male dialogue (and grunts, winded breathing, etc.) to sound more feminine, using any number of available audio software tools.

A crude example that I experimented with today: merely by raising the pitch slightly (one variable among many that determines human voice characteristics), Bayek's voice can be made to sound somewhat feminine. A contralto, sure - "she" sounds like a middle-aged heavy smoker - but the immersion break isn't as severe.

There could be issues with dialogue timing, but not if the audio variables are minimally filtered and tweeked. Overall, it would be a quick and dirty solution.

Yep I just started a new playthrough with Aya with the Animus control panel.

I must say it ruins a bit the experience to hear her speak with Bayek's voice....

So the Animus control panel is an excellent idea but I would rather wait to have some female voices options before playing with Aya. Othe'rwise the immersion is not good enough.

The "immersion" is designed to be that you "hacked" the Animus.

I mean, I get it. I was going to play with Layla. The voice made it odd.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but any changes that are to be made voice wise will be time-consuming. Even going over them with a mixer. At this point it might just be best to see about moving the audio files from the Discovery Tour and using those. Won't be much in the way of combat though.

Who knows, maybe they'll do something.
