Why drone types aren't bindable. Having to go back and forth between medic, emp, explosive while in combat? How easy would it be to bind it to key?

I don't think it was ever intended to be the way it is now, actually.

When the game first released, you actually had to be at an Ammo spot in order to change your Drone's function. You couldn't change it in the field. Apparently, they have removed that feature. As a result, I suspect it's simply an oversight or something no one really thought about to apply a Hotkey for switching.

No, you could always change in the field. The game never had any such limitation.

i gonna call baloney on that statement.. see my avatar for questions, thats never been an function ingame with only changing any functions, just "i:india" for your inventory and change on the fly
