    Refund!

If there was any chance of getting my money back for a game i would try for this one! what a shoddy load of dog droppings, my first foray into far cry franchise and my last. And.arcade mode! is this your attempt at getting in on the PUBG or Battle Royale bandwagon if so epic fail i don't like both those games but they are far more entertaining than this lol Note to ones self next UBISOFT release give it six months before purchasing, as the only game that they have gained credence for of late is R6S and i think that was a fluke. Oh and supposedly to keep me entertained this week in this game, the challenge is to run things over. (mind numbing) I'll turn the volume down on the TV to cut out the swearing and let my 6 year old do the challenge. And to make matters worse (here's the kicker) this will make you laugh. I bought the deluxe version at £75

Have to agree with you mate.
I bought the Gold Edition... won't make that mistake again.
I have never been this let down in a game before... honestly!
They better have done a decent job porting FC3.... won't be holding my breath though ☹

I’m sure Ubisoft will be in touch very soon, on bended knee asking for your forgiveness. I mean what were they thinking about, going ahead and making a game without consulting you personally, to make sure it was tailored to your every desire?

All that wording, the simple and right answer is that ubisoft had 10 years to do it right and 10 years of reasonable feedback ignored. The reason i know ubisoft doesnt care. Its all about the money these days. Thankfully i kept all my old games and consoles so if i wanna play a solid title i will go dig through the behemoth of pre ps3 and 360 games i have stacked from the floor up. How about buying you a copy of ghost recon 2 or black arrow and be happy with games that were made from the old dev teams that cared about your experience

In all honesty, the other Far Cry games(Far Cry 3, 4, and even Primal) blow 5 out of the water as far as replay value goes. Far Cry 5 is the worst installment of the series thus far and that includes Far Cry Primal which I think people didn't like because there were no guns but rather bows and spears. Not saying to go out and purchase those games, although you could get them fairly cheap now and Far Cry 3 comes with the season pass anyway. The biggest difference and what seems to be everybody's main issue is with 5 after you beat the game you can't reset the map to hostile again and have enemies roaming around again. There is just nothing to do but go fishing or hunting. With the past Far Cry games you could have hoards of enemies roaming around to kill just by resetting the outposts and then it truly becomes an open world game where you keep every weapon or ability you've unlocked or earned. I've been playing 4 again for a few days now and it's so much more fun than 5.

My only problem is with excessive respawns other than that it's the best in the series though still lazy, they never bother inovating and just release the same game again and again, luckily they usually just do enough to make it decent, this games better than the rest because locations feel unique, hand crafted, characters I like, side quests better than previous games.

I couldn't care less about when the games ended because I won't be playing it because it the end. Mmos have end games not single player games.

It’s all about the money, is it? So they set out to make a game nobody wants? One that will gets slated? And one that will incur serious reputational damage from its day-one customers? Yeah, that makes good business sense.

It is in the 10% of best-reviewed games, so opinions may vary but by any independent measure, Ubi did well enough with this one.

Some of the things in FC5 do seem a bit childish.

Far Cry used to be an adult game with adult themes and was certainly taken seriously as a seriously good game. Seems the serious part has been dropped.

While I do like FC5, the phenomenal world of Hope County, there is always room for improvement and most posts in these forums are just that. I also get why people have expectations but those expectations are probably based on games of yesteryear when there were real games that you had to put effort and concentration into playing instead of chatting with people online, eating pizza, drinking coke, livestreaming all at the same time of playing.
