    [SUGGESTION] [PVE] Heading Compass

I asked about this a few times and noticed after one of the first time I asked it was introduced to PVP. can we get this new compass in PVE as a HUD option for both the player and the drone feed?

Also can we get a number (Like seen in PUBG) below the heading compass to see exactly what our heading is? As PVE is a vast open world, saying “North” or “North East” is a very broad term to use in the heat of combat when playing with other players.

For Solo PVE players maybe the AI could inform us that “there’s two tangos at your 115 by the stack of tires.” This way it’s not completely useless for the Solo players and the COOP players get to switch up the way they play and communicate to be more effective at destabilizing the cartel.

I would love to see this as well.

An interesting note... FC5 actually did away with their minimap and replaced it with a compass. If we had one in GRW, I would have done the same. The only reason I keep the minimap on is for orientation / navigation.

Yep, playing with mini map is awesome, but kind of lacklustre without a compass heading

    +100 @ F1950 & K_1

This would make playing w/o the mini maps a great tool... aside from having a cleaner screen. Since they have stated that they will back a year 2 for it, I see no reason why this can not happen soon-ish

Just a caveat to my comment...... The minimap delete was one of a handful of things Ubi did right in FC5 among many other things they did wrong.

btw, I finished the game last night and probably won't be playing through it again. Don't buy it if you were thinking about it because I really doubt you'll like it.

A compass heading in the HuD would be a great addition!

Note, though, OP, it is already in the drone feed, binoculars too.

Blue..OP is talking about a compass bearing in degrees...a fantastic idea IMO

I remember the compass being hard for me to see while looking through binoculars. We either need modifications to it, or we need a different compass all together. I vote for a low profile compass in the HUD similar to FC5 and GRAW. Definitely need bearing references on it as well.

Adding my voice to this thread. I play no HUD with friends and adding a compass bearing would be one of the few tweaks that would substantially improve our coordination and gameplay!

You know, now that I think of it, I am still up for the idea of a compass but I don't believe I would be able to do away with the minimap, it is very frustrating trying to get out of the city on your own and I do relay heavily on the yellow path shown on the minimap but... perhaps a compass showing marking the way out as well?
