Please, this will help bring in new players! Grinding is too grindy, with example.

Hi, I have been trying to get my friends to get the game, at least the starter version. The problem is, they aren't super hardcore gamers and willing to put into 100 hours until you get some decent items. I'm 30 hours into the game and I'm only rep 2. I have been focusing on 1 character. No doubt other players are better than I am at gaining levels, which is fine, but for the casual player, there is no way that a casual is going to get the high level armor and weapons. 30 hours in, I should at least be able to have 1 character decked out with the nicest gear. There is quite a good size roster here, The rate I'm going, I'm looking at a year at least to get a few characters geared. I like games that have longevity, but for my peers who don't have the time that I have. The idea that they wont get anything with decent stats after hours and hours of gameplay, steers them away. I'm all for rewarding the players that put in the time, but for the players that want to casually play, we need to make weapons and armor more accessible. Just my opinion....

Being someone that has put about 400 hours into the PS4 version and I’m only at rep 49. The grind in for honor is such a pain and getting good gear is just as much of a pain. With 18 characters it also can discourage players from playing other characters in the roster because of the ridiculous leveling system. It can even discourage new players join the game once they see how much the grind can be. Even with daily and bi-daily orders it still takes a while to see a rep on any character. I agree the leveling system needs to change and levels need to come easy. If you think about it being at rep 49 I have leveled up 980 times in this game.

Yeah, lvling is a problem. And against it so many good chars you want to play.
For me it's hard and nonsense to focus on one char for weeks and monthes. I saw people who have rep 50 overall and rep 50 fro char thy played.

I agree that the slow grind of steel and XP is probably putting many people off buying the game. I wish the devs could see it as well and do something about it instead of thinking of microtransaction sales.

    Indeed

Im at Rep 5 and still grinding away though my main is getting there, not only is the grind bad for compelling new players to join, (for me at least) it also stops me trying other characters, which really limits the game

That's a great point, so many fun characters, yet I cant play them because I need to focus on one only just to get gear at a very very slow rate. If playing more than a couple of characters daily, youre looking at years for a fair amount of unlocks for the roster.

Iti hard to find a company as good as [DE] that actualul thinks about the players when work g on a game in statie of thinking only at theyre wallets. Sorryubisoft. U know is true. And beside the awesome game mechanics, the game is borring, customization is poorly consisting only of 3 armor sets per hero and useless color paterns.
