It's hard to get into this game..

I've got 100+ hours in Ghost Recon Wildlands.. and this game seems so childish now.. I mean the weapons are so unrealistic. I like realistic weapon damage.. I wish there was a way to adjust this.

I agree with he OP. There should be a "hardcore" option for those of us looking for more realistic elements in the game like damage. On that note they could also give us more options for standard (more realistic and intuitive) flight controls.

Ubi is obviously catering to the HC fans base by offering options to turn off HUD and targeting elements. .....just need
an option/mode to make the damage more realistic as well for both the AI and player.

I don't know if the option to disable all HUD and prompts was aimed at the HC fan base. I want this option in every first-person game I play, but I'm far from a HC gamers. I'm not good enough for HC modes and the only reason I look for HUD off options is for immersion.

Immersion is at the root of these requests. You're simply not comfortable with certain elements the OP is asking for. The good news is that there are already 3 difficulty modes in the game that are seperate from the HUD options. The OP is simply asking for another mode that would bring more HC elements to the game like a lower TTK. ....he's not looking to ruin it for others like yourself by removing what's there.

    'Realistic damage'?

I have no idea what that would be, I've never seen a real gun fired or touched one.

Then this is a game where you can command dogs, bears and cougars in combat, so I'm not sure where realism fits in...

......we're not talking about making FC5 into a simulator here. Obviously, it's a game. The OP is simply asking for an option to reduce TTK to make the AI less "spongy" (thereby making it a little more realistic). Personally, I wouldn't mind it either as long as the player would also be more vulnerable.

Again, this would be an option perhaps in a new diffulty mode.

As for real world experience in weapon handling, shooting and ownership, I don't think it's necessary to understand concepts of damage modeling in a game. .....although coming from someone who does I guess it might give me a bit of a different perspective on some things

To OP: Ignore morons with the join the army responses. Your opinion is shared by other. This game is good but for some reason i am not feeling it. Wildlands kept me coming back for more. With this game I cant decide whether to play arcade or the main game. I cant pinpoint why but when I find myself roaming and searching for mission markers I am supposedly "tracking", i hate to say it but it feels almost like the running around is somewhat of a grind. I know that sounds crazy but that's how it feels. Truth is right now, Arcade is more fun than the main game. I wish Ubi just expanded Wildlands with more missions and challenges. ... all this said still gonna finish the game i paid for but after its done. i dont see myself doing any replay. Going back to Wildlands for some great 4v4 while search on on or wait for the next big purchase.
