    UG Hunters.

Just curious, has anyone else noticed that they seem weaker? Seem to act differently too. Can't make my mind up if it's because I'm stronger or if indeed they have had a downgrade. I didn't have much trouble killing them before(unless they got close), but they moved around a lot more. Now they don't seem to. Im hoping they haven't been changed and the 6 I met yesterday were just drunk or something.

I don't know, 4 out of the last 6 I've met since the weekly reset have kicked my sorry behind. It's like they know they're part of my weekly requirement, so they're deliberately going full try-hard mode. Maybe I'm the one who's drunk and just don't know it. :P

Seriously though, I have noticed that their behavior / difficulty isn't always consistent. I've had spurts where they drop in and don't do much at all, and I just focus fire and kill them right away...and then I get spurts like recently where they're like Seal Team Six...flanking and rushing, using complimentary skills to keep me off balance, and generally making me curse life. Thankfully, most of the time they're somewhere in the middle.

Pleased to hear it isn't always consistent, they didn't take much to kill at all yesterday and they are something I look forward to in the UG.

Haha yes, had that experience myself. Still remember the "what the hell just happened" moment when I first encountered them.

Hopefully they will kick my behind next time just for giggles and to remind me they're still better than I ever will be. Until they get in my fire turret at least.

yep, it differs for sure...sometimes they chase you around the board, ducking and diving and its a challenge but most times they are cakewalks. Seems to me they are hard when you aren't paying attention and let them get close before you know they are there but if you recognize whats going on and give yourself some space then they just post up and let you shoot them in the face.

I think a lot of their challenge also depends on which maps they drop in on. I tend to do better against them when the areas are more open and I have room to maneuver. When they drop in on the more congested maps with lots of boxes, debris, machinery and stuff, I find I tend to get caught up on things and that's where I get into trouble.

That's exactly what they did last night, infact one came up the stairs and pretty much just stood there and let me shoot him. One got stuck in an enclosed area behind some wire fence and couldn't get out the other pretty much did the same as the first. When I game with my son, he lets me kill them on my own as he has his mask now and I don't. Never have much trouble with them but they reminded me of rioters in DZ1 last night. The three on PS did the same, just stood there.

I get caught up easy too. It's like everything is a magnet and pulls me in. Everything I can get stuck on, I will get stuck on! Either that or fall down steps!

As in D3-FNC? I have that set but never set it up or used it. My husband has a couple of times, not sure it's a set for me though. Shield puts me off for some reason.

But.. Can't you melee with that too?

Don't have enough trouble with them to change loadout etc. That was my gripe, they seemed weaker than I'm used to.

Use D3 in the underground with Barretts and ninja bike. Funny I find my experience different in that take yesterday 11 killed 1 got me and its nearly always in open spaces. I tend to get my back up against a wall in a recess so they can only come at me head on.
Mind you did not help me the other day when one dropped from above thought I was in WP and silly spawning until I went back and saw a open manhole cover in the roof lol. Knife killing sequence when they get you is wicked.

I wouldn't even know where to start to set D3 up. Run nomad and striker usually and then firecrest occasionally for some fun. Also use final measure now and again. Have most sets of classified gathering dust in the stash.
Was in the UG the other night with my husband when one took him down from behind him. Had killed one already, I was busy shooting one in front of me when the hubby all of a sudden out of nowhere. "Blue (my pet name if you will) one behind you" erm.. what exactly do you want me to do when you're in a heap on the floor and I have 2! Too late.. hatchet thing in my head. Throat slit - DEAD! Lol Love hunters!!
