Does this mean that a New Game Plus will never happen? Or that it might or could happen sometime in the future?

Because I also would love a New Game Plus as well.

Yeah, bastards! How dare they create a game and then fail to release patches and new content days later, when a handful of people have requested it?

It's the only update they are able to deliver at this point. All the community staff can do is collect these suggestions and send it up through the food chain. They will look at at it and decide whether they feel it is worth implementing or not in upcoming updates.

This answer neither means yes or no. .....they are simply leaving it open for consideration at this point.

My only suggestion to the community is to keep the feedback coming.

That's not what I said at all, and it's more than a "handful." I was addressing the ubisoft fellow who said that they have no plans to address this problem even though they've previously asked for feedback.

Agreed. This isn't just a "handful" of gamers requesting this. I don't think anyone is asking for this immediately but in the near future would be nice. This shouldn't be a problem to begin with since Far Cry 3, 4, Primal, and Blood Dragon all had the map become hostile again when the outposts were reset. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game. It's just become a bit bland without any random action going on.

Thats a real shame, many challenges are almost impossible without tricking/manipulating NPC's in outpost master after completing the main story.
What is the point then of live event cosmetic rewards? We get to run Outpost master or kill some Bison with a rainbow SMG? are you mental?

Finishing the game actually ruins Far Cry 5.

If this is Ubi's stance, then what's the point of buying the DLC at full price? Ubi's stance would suggest once it's complete, may as well delete.

Good luck with that, I'll wait for the crack

The campaign is too short. For a open world game this is a crap. It coul be like GRW which had a big world with many missions and 2 DLCs to keep the game playable. If I knew this is it I wouldn't buy the game. I'd stay for a crack and played by free.

I think this is a critical update personally, given the current lack of quality arcade maps.

Along with this, there should be the ability liberate the same outpost over and over without having to reset all of them and worth through all of them before being able to start one again. It was like this in FC4 so make it happen, please

Well for one, you can't do that option yourself until you finish the game. But yes, they are overspill. The random events of cultists roaming the terrain are literally "replaced" (instead of just added in) with events of townsfolk walking around, dramatically cutting down the amount of cultists to only the ones driving on the roads, of which all can be killed with ease and rare when it does happen at all.

It's a common misconception that the "Reset Outposts" option resets the enemy patrols as well, because this indeed is the case with previous Far Cry games. It is "not" the case for Far Cry 5 for whatever reason. Reasons I wish were expressed. Despite the option doing exactly what it says now, you'd think it would be understandable to expect the 5th game to follow suit, especially since I'm sure I remember saying the in-game tutorials for this game saying that taking out the outposts "lessens the enemy in the area," when in actuality it's "taking out the cult leader" is what actually lessens the enemies in the ENTIRE area, and to the point that it's now boring.

Case in point, a NG+ would be ok, but it doesn't solve the overall problem of having a world devoid of enemies with everything unlocked once again. Because of the way the game's story is progressed, everything you do gives you liberation points, and it's pretty much impossible to do all sidequests before that happens. Just never killing the leaders is not a solution because it locks areas until you do. I'm a little irked that the NG+ is getting more attention, unless NG+ incorporates the ability to always have enemy patrols around in some way.
