[SUGGESTION] Exiting vehicles in dangerous situations.

Have you ever noticed how the player either jumps out and rolls out of a moving vehicle or simply exits it slowly and calmly even if you are being chased or shot at? I love playing it in extreme difficulty, it renewed my interest in the game. But "realism" must be more consistent. I seriously doubt that if a professional soldier or merc, in the middle of a car chase that could end in a shoot-out, would exit the vehicle as clumsuly and as slowly as the player does. Not to mention how they must exit a car if they are already being shot at.
It has caused me more deaths that I can remember and it's extremely annoying. I pull over my car, exit it and the dumb player exits the vehicle with the same urgency as someone who has just returned home from work. It needs to be fixed. If you are being hunted or are already engaged on a firefight, the player needs to be quicker and more tactical when coming out of vehicles. Sometimes he even leaves a car and stands on the roof, in the middle of a firefight...

It is the many little things that are the most annoying because these are the ones that happen more often.

Exactly. And they start feeling really annoying the moment you want to play it in extreme, because the game won't forgive any errors.

Not sure why you made basically two identical threads on this. For me, common sense dictates if you are getting yourself into heavy vehicle shootouts (convoys I assume?), you use the armored SUV and don't exit unless you park it in such a way that it shields you from the fire. I did many a convoy tags this way in Tier One mode before I had easier means to deal with them.

So, the solution here is to ALWAYS use the armored SUV just in case he gets into a shootout? There is actually nothing wrong with the animation when you get out of the vehicle?

I know the workarounds. I don't even get to the point of creating a shootout out of a convoy hijack. It's not about what I can do to avoid the situation where I know I'm going to get killed getting out of a vehicle, it's about the animations being completely out of place and out of context. It's already a great game, why not fix the little details to make it near perfect?

I created two identicla threads about the same things because I didn't know I had to tag the subject in order to get attention from the devs. I could neither edit the subject of my previous threads nor delete them.

You don't owe him any explanations... don't worry about it unless the Mods or CMs tell you. He thinks that by making everything your fault the game will miraculously be better.

LOL, who made you forum babysitter? He didn't really explain the scenario. I'm talking about using the SUV if you are INTENDING to do convoys. I see now why AI Bluefox cannot stand you. You're more trollish than a 12 yr old, yet here you are at 54 in denial of it.

As far as the exit animations go, no, I don't take issue with them. Probably because I'm not in the habit of exiting a vehicle when I'm being showered by gunfire, and even when I was prior to using easier methods for convoy tagging, I just used the SUV and parked it in such a way that I was not exposed to the fire while tagging the vehicle. It's not exactly rocket science. The only scenarios that come to mind for exiting vehicles under a hail of gunfire are 1, using too fragile a vehicle and it's about to blow up, 2, said convoys, 3, not picking your routes or mode of travel carefully.

When I think of the 3 times I've played through the game, on Tier One mode no less each time though, only convoys are a regular occurrence of such type, and if you use Spotting as mentioned previously, it's actually a rare occurrence. This is not a stunt game like Just Cause, it's a Ghost game. Sometimes I think most of the players making such complaints have no clue how to play it with stealth, or don't even care to try. I remember when everyone was whining about FC2, claiming stealth was not possible. I just laughed because there I was picking my way through gullies with tall grass, and rivers, etc, to get around those checkpoints just fine. Most players today have no patience to learn how to a play a game, and of course they always claim it's bad game design instead.
