CS drop from LZ boss no change in 1.8.1 No delivery on promises. 3% drop.

Completed the 4 characters running the LZ boss cycle and had high expectations based on promises of a much higher drop chance going from 3% to 6% but nothing has changed, disappointed as usual with Ubisoft failing to deliver.
4 LZ boss cycles at 15 events each for 60 events, but from this many events got a CS armour return on number 19 Fumes and nothing until number 53 Belzer, so based on this 2 drops from 60 = 1 in 30 at guess what rate, just over 3%. Should be 3 at least if not 4 as it is only 4 events from another marker, at 16 events at 6% drop chance.
Still better than one long run with 3 drops from 390 events at a rate of 0.77%, will Ubisoft guys not get their bonus if agents get a bit more reward, does it come out of their own pocket, why don't you deliver on what you promised or is it too hard and you don't know how to make it work.
What it does do is reinforce the concept that you can not believe a word or a promise they tell you as time after time they do not deliver, that relates specifically to the hype being delivered by the spin doctors on the Division 2, from yet another disappointing experience today, YOU CAN'T TRUST WHAT THEY SAY.
Until you actually see it in the game and experience it as you are playing, don't hold your breath that any thing you have been told or promised or hinted at will ever see the light of day and become a part of the game.
Come on Devs, look at the algorithms for drop rates on CS armour from LZ bosses and fix it so you actually deliver in real gaming experience what you promised.
Better still what if you changed it from 6% to a drop rate of 1 in 15, so you got a CS drop per LZ boss cycle, some reward for doing the grind.
What would that hurt particularly as the high end team guys boast they get a guaranteed CS piece per Legendary run and they can do some of them in 7 minutes.
The LZ boss run takes me around 30 - 35 minutes, I do not rush, but get around OK, why am I not getting rewarded for much more time investment.
What this does is the top end gang together, kick rear end and get heaps of CS gear but the rest get little reward. The capability gap widens even further.
Just deliver on what you promised.

I've done 4 runs of the LZ bosses on my only character, so far my exotics to drop are.

1 showstopper,1 Ninja bag,1Ferros mask,1 Bliss holster and 1 pair of Skull gloves, that's 5 exotics, before the update i'd be lucky to see 1 exotic in 3 runs.

As for classy gear 0 not a single drop

    Maybe it's luck/RNG who knows.

But that is exactly the point, who knows, one of the most frustrating parts of the game is that you have no control over developing you character. it is just luck. You might get 6 The House but no Big Alejandro, I can get 6 Big Alejandro but no versions of the House. You should be able to determine for yourself and with earnings from the game, to plan and purchase what you need to improve your character, not just dumb luck makes some agents untouchable as they were lucky and have all the armour and god roll weapons, you have squat.
What is the point of making a big deal and grand statements about increasing drop chance rates when the reality is that nothing, in terms of actual in game reward has altered.

No OP is right the loot drop seems same to me 3 hours of grind in LZ and a legendary no sign of classified. No wonder they didn't mention the exact percentage increase in loot drop. HYPE TRAIN ditched me again Lol first with 1.8 and introduction of WSP how it is alternate to DZ for PVE players now this.

As told Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Yeah shame on me to ride the hype train.

    Ths old chestnut again.......

It’s 6% drop chance, NOT 6% drop rate.

    Understand the difference.

I just do not get what they get from not ensuring the cash paying agents who have remained when so many left, can not get decent reward for time invested.
Just do not make promises and hype it up as to how good it will be when nothing changes and you have not delivered.
Are they deliberately trying to alienate the few remaining agents who continue to faithfully play the game, or is it too hard and they have no idea how to make happen what they promised.

If the increase to 6% drop chance doesn't affect the drop rate then there's no point increasing it is there?

They should alter the RNG to make it 6% drop rate and then we'll have nothing to complain about

Yeah noted but the problem is they clearly mentioned DROP RATE CHANCE not DROP CHANCE so most of us are getting confused. It's far better they leave this game as it is instead of creating unnecessary hype and confusion.

SO END LINE NOTHING IS CHANGED IT's PURE RNG.

One thing i noted is While i farm in DZ it is always 5% Drop rate a gaurantee drop for certain amount of NPC's i killed because i calculated and experimented multiple times with a guarantee drop instead of chance while i farm in LZ it is strictly DROP RATE CHANCE.

@OP. I understand and I am in the same boat as you. I got zilch lasts night, but it isn't quite time to call foul yet. We aren't guaranteed classifieds or exotics unless we do things that are specifically caches of that sort. Give it the weekend and see what happens. I would also remind players with RNG, at least with my experience with this RNG. Some players will see a hurricane like rain of loot, while others will still be stuck in the desert hoping that it would at least sprinkle. Before all this I had a group of friends I went about a month doing LZ Boss run and got nothing but HE stuff, meanwhile one lady had times she would see exotics or classifieds. Sometimes she would share other times she wouldn't. It is the RNG of TD.

It seems that most around here have a hard time understanding what a probability actually is. By definition, a probability of a certain event occurring, is the quotient between the number of favourable occurrences and the total number of occurrences, multiplied by 100. Going from 3% to 6%, improves the probability slightly, but that's all. Saying you have a 3% or 6% probability of getting a classified gear piece, is not the same as saying you'd get 3 or 6 classified pieces per 100 NPC's killed. You can play for hours and hours, kill hundreds and hundreds of NPC's, and still not see a single classified gear piece. It's the law of probabilities.

Think of it this way, before, you had 97% probability of getting any other piece of gear or weapon, rather than a classified. Now, you have a 94% probability of getting anything else rather than a classified. Furthermore, it's important to underline that the probability is valid for every NPC killed. It doesn't stack and it doesn't influence the next occurrence.

So, please don't say that everything is the same, because nothing was meant to change anyway. It's all a matter of probabilities and it's always been a matter of probabilities. The odds were against us before, and they remain very, very much against us yet.
