New IQ elite skin immersion breaking?

    Hey guys!

The IQ elite bundle looks awesome and the kickboxing outfit underlines how badass IQ is despite her pickrate. However when I first saw the skin in a match the first thing that came to my mind was, how stupid you have to be to get into combat without proper equipment.

What I would like to ask you guys is: Do you think that the IQ elite bundle is too immersion breaking for Siege?
Because even though I like the elite skin itself, I think it is ridiculous for her to go on a mission without armor etc. It looks like the add one out of the team having her run around with the training uniform and it does not fit into the realistic theme of siege in my opinion. Actually seeing the elite set of her makes me wonder if other operators will get similar immersion breaking sets in the future. Pulses elite set is also one of those sets I think look awesome, but do not make that much sense in the context of siege.

    What do you guys think?

    Cheers Leo

Here's the thing, the PvP of Siege isn't so much an actual mission then it is a training exercise. Otherwise you wouldn't really have these highly trained operators from CTUs around the would being part of a TU.

    How does this tie in?

Well, IQ's elite skin is based off the real training uniform for German police. So wearing a training uniform to a training exercise makes sense.

But all said and done... IQ honestly has the single worst elite skin to be released so far

Yeah you're right about that. I also heard some rumors stating that Siege is something of a simulation. Tom Clancy mentioned something like this in one of his Rainbow books (https://www.reddit.com/r/Rainbow6/co..._a_simulation/) which would support the possibility to fight between different CTUs actually belonging to the same team.
But I don't know: As it is never officially mentioned that Siege is merely a simulation or training, it is also marketed as this photo realistic tactical shooter, so in my opinion skins and sets like IQs are somewhat unfitting.

    What do others think?

    Yeah... it bothered me too.
I'm all for the elite skins, but look at them...
WW1 and 2 soldiers, Vietnam jungle fighter, old school FBI, Even the super weak "shadup imma on da phone"

Then you have "Oh... I just got home from the gym...."

Come on ubi... you can do better...

One of the moderators did specify that article 5 and outbreak have been the first two missions. And lets be real some of the base game gadgets have been pretty immersive breaking in their own rights cough cough smoke. He's kinda breakin the Geneva convention lol.

That certainly an interesting angle to look at the topic
Smokes bombs are indeed breaking some laws. But what do you think of the sets and skins available for the operators? Are you fine with them or are there some you think are unfitting?

not only it's immersion breaking it just look downright awful. she looks like sex doll that belongs in some indie porn game now. I already uninstalled this game early this year from my steam. R6 one of very rare game that I couldn't bear play any longer due to bad presentation.

Damn, was it such a problem that you stopped playing siege because of it? In what way did those skins degrade the gameplay for you and can you name some sets and skins you especially dislike?
