My apologies to Ubisoft regarding 4K patch

As per title, I hold my hands up and apologise as it was my mistake

    From this post: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...you-confirm-4K

It was my mistake due to weirdly that the same day the patch came out that sony also brought out a update for my t.v which reset my t.v settings (never done that before with updates)

As with all 4k t.v's (not just 4k i must say) out of the box they have very bad settings, it took me weeks to find the best settings for 4k.

When i adjusted my t.v it is very specific for what i am watching, what the update done was not only reset my settings but also changed my 4k cable settings which resulted in the game not playing in 4k and with very basic settings.

Just aswell i saved on a spreadsheet all of my settings for what i am watching, whether it be gaming, films, music etc etc.

So i have fully put the settings back on my t.v and OMG...what a difference the patch has made with the following:

    • I am seeing lighting i have never seen before.
    • All textures are much more crisper
    • Snow is much more prominent
    • Particles is more more prominent
    • Bullets hitting my sheild (D3 build) looks amazing
    • Reflections is amazing

I could go on and on with how much better it is, it really feels like i am playing on a very high end p.c.

My final thoughts is the game was already visually great and you have just made it so much better.

Again my apologies for getting it wrong.

p.s Forgot to add, the game seems to be running so much smoother, dare i say, flawless.

    All the best

    Jay

    Keep up the good work

Glad you are enjoying the 4k experiences. Definitely easier on the eyes.

"Flawless?", hmm, maybe as good as a 30FPS game can be. Sorry, I may sound like a broken record but 30FPS is far from flawless - not directed at The Division, developers need to focus on better framerates in my opinion. It doesn't hurt to let developers know what's important to some of us.

With that said, if you're happy that all that matters for you. Maybe if I didn't have a PC for reference I could accept 30FPS
