Doesn't this destroy the Far Cry universe/Lore?

All the games are connected. Hurk mentions Jack Carver, Jason Broady, Ajay Ghale. Agent Willis is in the game and mentions them to. Kyrat exists. The Rook Islands exist. The United States exists. Now the world became a nuclear wasteland? This goes beyond this games story. This just killed every character and country in the Far Cry Universe. Everyone is dead now. Every single event and game leading up to Far Cry 5 - everyone...dead. If we as Jason Brody picked our friends and got back to Los Angeles with our remaining friends and brother Riley guess what? L.A. just went up in nuclear fire. Kyrat was most likely hit as well and is a wasteland, and Ajay is most likely dead if he returned to the United States. Africa must of been hit several times so all the factions and people there? Yup dead as well. This literally destroys and kills the Far Cry Universe and now the whole world is a wasteland.

This ending doesn't make sense at all and literally everything we ever did in Far Cry never mattered since the whole world just died.

I hear Fallout 5 takes place in Montana, LOL. Well, some people are saying the ending was a bliss trip. The player can still free roam and when the map is zoomed out it says Joseph has been defeated.

That’s my headcanon ending; especially since I liberated Henbane River last. My headcanon is that, still feeling the effects of the Bliss from Faith and her bunker, everything that happened after defeating Joseph was a hallucination, and that my Deputy and her pals actually filled Joseph full of lead

    About Africa...

Actually, as far as getting hit with nuclear weapons, maybe not. Are there any African nations that are also nuclear powers? If so, are any of these nations tangled up in alliances with Asian, European, or American nuclear powers which mandate a nuclear response? Do any of those powers have silos or other launch facilities in an African nation? I think the answer to all of these questions...is no.

Given that, a nuclear exchange between American/European forces and any other actors would most likely not involve African targets. Initial targets would be known enemy launch sites, followed by strikes against military infrastructure, then population/production centers of enemy nations. There would be no reason to start lobbing nukes at Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, or Congo. They have no nukes. So they can't possibly participate in a nuclear exchange. So...why hit them with nukes? Why waste them?

So Africa may actually be safe, barring other nuclear consequences.
