Songs lag/server disconnect on ps4? | Forums

Playing some of the unlimited songs via. Just Dance 2018 is incredibly frustrating. When I played earlier in the morning (around 9 AM EST time) I had zero issues. But tonight (started playing at 10:30 PM EST time) the issues arose again. I put in a help ticket on Saturday night, but just curious of what's going on?

Tonight (as an example) I started off by playing "Shape of You" (a non-unlimited song) and it was fine. I then went and played Gangam Style just fine. When I went to play "Happy" it was incredibly laggy and eventually told me there was a server issue (so no song finish). Same went for a Maroon 5 song played, and then I gave up in frustration. This was better then my experience on Saturday, however (when I played for a lot longer but barely got any songs to finish... at least the first song played with no issues whatsoever).

Things I've tried:

checked my ps4 connection (2 to 3 mb upload, 90 download)
checked my firewall on my router
placed the ps4 in the dmz zone.

Any advice or help??? I don't want to continue with just dance unlimited if all it's going to do is lag on me constantly..

The only step you haven't tried is #3 in our troubleshooting guide. Please try this and if you're still having trouble, contact our Support team directly.

I have the same problem and I have also reported a case about two weeks ago. Same timezone (EST)
