I love using decals, they can really add small detail to your maps.

Wait?! Is Ubisoft asking you to take down your republished map? Is your map getting more plays than their original? Why are they not asking for a “lock” in their maps? 🤔

Ive only upgraded this scene, not the full map, i only publish what is 100% my own work. i upgraded that scene just for screenshots, that's it. i just wanted to show an example of how more detail could be added.

Here's a list of Far Cry 5 Editor objects mapped to some of their characteristics & the category they're in. Could perhaps be of help, searching through them.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

The sheet is quite heavy, so I'll be transforming this into a website that will help find objects even better in the future.

    Oh okay..

I think when it comes to solo/co-op and campaign games, these types of details can really make the EXPERIENCE pop out. Which is great! And I think it's AWESOME that you are showcasing the little things.

But for multiplayer, I think it's more about the spacing/loadouts/etc.. The pace of the game is MUCH faster and the tiny details will always be a blur to them.

I just wanted to point out that people who are creating MULTIPLAYER maps should emphasis on more than just details and more on how the map plays out. I don't want people with crappy maps to suddenly put amazing DECAL stuff and think that it will get 100 plus more plays and start wondering why their maps still suck.A multiplayer map can LOOK amazing but still PLAY terrible if that makes sense.

For the record, I only have PS4 and I know you have Xbox, but I LOVE the extra detail you do. I get this weird feeling you grew up with camera? You got a great eye!

Thanks Cameras are not my thing, but art is, from an early age i was good at drawing and painting, this now translates into map making, i like to think of a map, mp or sp as a painting. i like my maps visuals to have that AAA look you find in games, in the past with fc2,fc3 and fc4 my skills were held back, but with this editor im free to make the stuff i always wanted to.

Some really nice detail there; I especially like the decals. Thanks for the spreadsheet too, that'll definitely come in handy!
