you are playing GHOST RECON WILDLANDS, why on earth would you ASSUME you'd be playing as Sam Fisher?

I was being a good sport about this, why are you still talking to me like a child instead of as a human being? My complaint wasn't only that we didn't play as Sam Fischer (as they trailer lead us to believe) but that they also deceived us about the mission type. The video clearly showed Sam silently taking down Unidad soldiers on GRW maps. Assuming that is what you'd be doing is not that far fetched. That does not make me stupid. That doesn't give anybody the right to talk to me like I'm a moron for thinking what I saw advertised was what I'd actually be getting to do.

I agree you owned up to it by saying fair enough Kev, although I also agree something like this doesn't make someone an idiot necessarily. I don't necessarily think they were implying you were one either, it's just the kind of tone you normally see on rebuttals to rant threads.

As has been mentioned though, the trailer clearly has Sam saying "Call in the Ghosts". So from a character standpoint, there's nothing there to lead one to believe they'd be playing as Sam, which wouldn't make a whole lot of sense in a GR game anyway.

I would advise being patient, because they're only barely into Year 2. There could be some upcoming content that makes your Year 2 pass well worth the price.

I see your patient and well worth the price and raise you more of the same chicken plucking.

From what I have seen this week, they would be better off bringing Narco Road 2.0... people would be less angry

Then again if we use players like you as a reference point, the game will NEVER be considered good enough. You've got to be the most nit picky person I have ever seen on game forums, and one of the most trollish too. Neither of which are befitting your 54 years. It tells me you haven't learned much in all those years. If anything you act like a friggin spoiled brat.

I could see them actually starting the new Splinter Cell with this mission, except played out as Sam Fisher, where you have to infiltrate the base, kill the traitor, wait for the Ghosts before hacking the server, and then extract. Then it gets into the story arc for the game

That'd actually be slick as hell.

In case anyone reading the older posts was uncertain...there is a full blown Sam Fisher costume for sale in the store. It's been there for a bit. That's more likely than not what was used in the trailer footage. On the challenges page in-game, your ghost is dressed in it. It would've been sweet if you got that for completing the challenge, but I think it was just being used as an example.

I find it really strange that you are first tasked to sneak in this base with no kills, no alarms etc. which I absolutely love since I am a major fanboy for sneaking around and being stealthy, but then once you reach the position everything flies out of the window and it's full on Rambo on Steroids level firefight to get out?

Why? For what purpose would you put a huge loud firefight in a splinter cell themed mission? I know you can just run in and out with the correct route without needing to kill anyone but a few sentries who spawn in your route, but it still feels really weird for a theme mission like this.

Another hilarious detail is that you are tasked to wait until 2100 to even play the mission which just reminds everyone that this game still doesn't have a option to advance time, and forces you to fast travel around the map until you reach the desired time. Since the devs have finally started to add features the community has been asking for a long time I would really like to see this one implemented during year 2.
