Ok...I try to stay calm in here.
After my female character beeing change to default male nomad for nearly a month.
With male look and female voice.
After today patch it said the Icon problem was fixed.
So? I unequip my character's icon, Still default male nomad.
There's not any option for me to change it back to a female character.
I'm kind of giving up hope now...do I have to start a new character and played all the mission over again?
Is there really no ****ing way I could change my character back to ****ing normal?
Please give me a ****ing answer.
Thanks you.
Also, when trying a new save to use icon character and swtich back to non icon, the face was change to other faces.
Ha! I think icons were the only listed fix for PvE on the patch note. Literally the one listed fix and still broken.
They did well with the NVG animations and team customization though. Polishing ittybitty bits at a time.
I think you mean.... "iconically broken"...........bahaha-*jumping off bridgeOriginally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
I don't have Icons. But reading around, it seems the problem indeed has been fixed. Meaning that now when your character is X, then you use an Icon, your character will still be X when you return.
The problem with yours is that from your story there, you have pulled the trigger before the patch. Which means that by the time the patch was sent out, the information saved in your data is that your character is no longer X, but instead Y due to the bug from the Icon usage.
In another words, the patch, as usual, is a preventive fix. The fix that is to prevent character settings to be changed from X to Y upon the usage of Icon. In your case, you are already stepping outside the preventive line to the point of no return.
The only solution Ubisoft can give for severe victims like you is to add a feature to completely edit our Ghost.
And the only solution for you, as a player, to overcome this is to find your backed-up save data made BEFORE you ever used an Icon.
It is usually the little things that pisses us off the most isn't it? I really don't want to exacerbate the issue here but I am glad I don't really care about cosmetics and this is probably why. Now, I understand the reason they kick or treat "Gameplay" to the side like a red headed step child but to do that to their cash cow "Eye Candy & Cosmetic" is beyond belief.
Oh and Klaymond... I see what you did there!![]()
